Morning, all! Finally some sunshine & warmer weather (50s) here. Going to burn some chicken on the grill tonight. Planning our June trip this week: family birthday party in Indiana on the 2nd, then Nexus (RV) rally the following week. From there we're heading to New York State to see some cousins in Buffalo, Niagara Falls, Finger Lakes wineries, & Adirondacks. Would be interested in hearing of any other interesting stops around there. We'll take the rest of June putzing around there before heading back west thru Canada ending up back at Angola, Indiana for family reunion over the 4th. Other shorter trips likely over the summer, including a to-be-determined meet up with Sue somewhere. Hope all is well with all the gals here, safe travels to Beth, Lyn & everyone on the road today.

I'm late, but it's still the 1st. Went kayaking on the Suwannee River this morning with a group of new friends. It was cool and calm....no wind, so nice. Then I had a surprise visit from Nan and her friend Bonnie. We had lunch (thanks, Nan) and I gave them a tour of Dowling Park.

Sounds like everyone is getting ready for spring/summer!

Worked all day and will again tomorrow. Was a gorgeous spring day here so it was pretty quiet at work.

Our renter FINALLY moved out! My brother ended up helping him. The guys daughter showed up 2 hours late to help and then after about half an hour she just up and left...and left her 5 year old son with the renter. Didn't say a thing and just left! Never came back either. As mad as my brother was with him, he kind of felt sorry for him too. The guy is a clueless dufus but is nice. The basement now is a total disaster and he left a lot of stuff behind. Not sure if that was intentional or if he was just overwhelmed and understaffed and trying to look after his grandson (who he ended up taking with him to his new apartment).

I have 4 days off this week and there is still a ton of stuff to do around here. The house will be listed on Friday and the first Open House is Saturday. We already know of several people who are chomping at the bit to put an offer on the house, so it should go quickly and hopefully with a bidding war! Keeping our fingers crossed! (Lakeshore property is really hard to come by on this lake, especially anything under a million dollars).

Am tired tonight so will get to bed early!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

I'm very late posting today BUT it is still the 1st. I remembered to say RABBITS this morning. The only reason is I always said something to the dog but now that she has passed I am eerily quiet in the morning.

Spent this beautiful day outside working in the yard and visiting with lots of my neighbors ha ha but was nice to see so many of them out and about. Today was a great day to be outside but I think I overdid it a bit as I am kind of stiff this evening. Geez amazing how out of shape we can get. Will be out in the yard again tomorrow so will be getting a little more in shape.

Got my RV dewinterized yesterday and a few little fix its. I got new plugs (for towing my SUV) on my RV and SUV as they were getting pretty corroded. Then they had to figure out why the new plugs and cord were not charging my battery when I tow it. Didn't take them long after they asked the other tech that installed it where he put the circuit breaker ha ha it is in the engine by my battery wrapped in heat resistant tape ha ha I never would have found it and they wanted to make sure I knew where it was. It is so nice to have a reliable RV shop to go to that is close. They used to be closer but now they are about 10 miles away but well worth the drive.

I am all ready to go camping now as I filled up with gas and all that is left is to take it thru the Smog station and get my new tags. I dont expire until the middle of May but will go way before that. I would have stopped yesterday but had my car hooked up to the Motorhome and they wont let me go thru with it connected so easier to just go at a later date.

Okay time for some Netflix. I need to watch Frankie and Grace the new season is out but I only want to watch it in the evening for a bit instead of binge watching and not getting anything else done ha ha
