Sunny Saturday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Sunny Saturday

Good Morning, Don't ask me what time it is. Driving through time zones and day.ite saving time coming tomorrow, I will wait to change clocks.
I am camped at COE park Seminole Lake. Love the cost of these parks. Sun is out, clear blue sky, cold breeze. Blowing on this huge lake.

Lyn, enjoy your slow drive back. I am sorry that I didn't get to stay in FL long enough to play with you guys. Guess it means that I just need to head back west sometime soon.

Worked all week and looking "forward" to working at least another 7-8 weeks. I am also looking forward to seeing the $$$ resting in the savings/travel/dog show account. The folks I work with are neat, which helps. The dogs here are coping well but when Josef comes back home after the Louisville Shows, we will need to figure ways to wear the young man out here in lazy land.

Good morning
waiting for these $$$$ is driving me nuts!! Any day now, according to the website,
the check is in the mail. Snail mail coming out of Florida for some odd reason. It
was processed Monday, the 6th and they said to allow 10 days. My life will
change very soon now.
I do need to get out and do some walking, been sitting much too long and my
body isn't used to that. Although its easy to be lazy, it also makes me hurt.
Not much else to say.
Y'all have a great day, be safe and be comfortable.

Morning Lyn, Alice, Tina and all,

Sounds like a nice leisurely trip home Lyn, enjoy. You have the rally to look forward to this fall to bring you back east again. Do you have an idea when you might be heading to IL? Some of us are talking GTG site someplace.but need some ideas for dates. Alice, now you know the secret behind my get up and go. Keeps the body in physical shape. Tina, I've got one of those young high energy fur bodies here too. Fortunately she makes a lot of her own entertainment when Molly doesn't want to play.

Taxes are ready to take to preparer except for one form which comes next week. Appt. is for 28th, but if form comes, might see if I can move it up. Want to get them done and out of my hair. Nothing on agenda here today. Cold and snowy outside. Light snow, nothing serious. Will be gone by end of next week. Wiil probably do some online searching for curtains.

As Lyn mentioned, daylight saving time begins tomorrow. Don't forget to set your clocks ahead. Have a nice day.

Good morning all. Got through the snow storm yesterday and got lucky enough that must of the sidewalk and driveway melted before I could get to it! I had left my car out of the garage, bad move! It was covered with several inches of the white stuff so had to clean it off before I left for my appointment! A chilly 17 out there now! And looks like we have a nor'easter coming in Tuesday and Wednesday so anticipating several more inches! So looking forward to it....not!

I was thinking that last year I had Lola dewinterized the end of March but not looking good for this year. Will probably have to wait into April sometime. Plus she needs inspection too so will leave her with Jim for a few days. I've been having trouble with one of the locks on the door so need to have have him check that out for me too. Then when I get her home I can clean the inside, give her a bath and reload her. Something to look forward to!

Not sure what I'm going to get into today! Need to get my bed changed and wash the sheets but beyond that who knows!
I did find out why the power went out the other day. Apparently a transformer "wore out" and had to be replaced on a pole nearby. My neighbor works on that kind of thing and said they replaced it with a smaller one so figures come summer when ac's are running we'll probably experience more outages cause the new one won't be able to handle the load. So guess we'll have to see how that goes!

Tina, I had to laugh about wearing Josef out! Wish he could help wear my younger dog out! My older guy just doesn't play like he used to so it's up to me to play now! He can wear me out! Well, time to get moving! Hope you all have a good day and week end and have safe travels if you are on the road!

It's not sunny here, it's raining. Lyn, it's probably headed your way. So far I haven't heard that we will have any severe weather. The temperatures are a roller coaster, 70's one day and 60's the next. I should have done more unloading of the camper yesterday. I want to get it to the shop early Monday morning.

We have a trasformer in our back yard that makes a noise when it's very windy. I called the electric coop to report it and they checked it. The guy said they would put it on their repair list. I have an idea that repair will happen when it goes out.

CC likes to give the old lady cats here trouble when he gets started. Sometimes he can get Annie running and they play chase. Posse isn't mean enough to him and he just attacks her. She really likes him when he's not attacking her. When it gets too bad he has to go outside to give everyone a break.

I need to think of something to cook. It's bad when the freezer is full and there is nothing you want to eat.

Lyn, I was there a couple of days two weeks ago, and have 10 days scheduled at Lake Seminole starting Friday. Can't beat $12 a night for a very pleasant place! It makes up for my state park fees. Right now am at Grayton Beach with full hookup, $34 including several taxes. Spots in the new section where I am are fairly open and HUGE. I chose the new area because it is more open for satellite.

And I also am going nuts with time changes. Lyn, that campground is in Georgia, just a few hundred feet from Florida! Not only is western Florida on Central Time but we move our clocks ahead tonight. And I probably should not have moved my clock on my dashboard because that has made it worse. At least tomorrow, I will be able to get things straight. I have an appointment at Camping World on Wednesday so I will have to be careful to be there at the right time.

Very frustrated tonight. We had another real estate agent come over today to interview. I liked him and thought he was very informed and confident. My SIL (not the one married to my brother who was injured) didn't like him at all. (She is the one I have real issues with because she is so opinionated and thinks she is always right, you are always wrong and she will cram that fact down your throat! ). She seems to think she is totally in charge of this whole thing with the house. I imagine she will end up deciding who we go with since her husband is a pushover and my other brother and SIL are totally preoccupied with his medical situation right now.

Then I just looked at my checking account on-line tonight and saw a charge on there for Best Buy that I never made (was charged today and I never left the house), so I called to report it and my account is blocked for now until I can go to the bank on Monday and get a new account set up. Another hassle!

Heading to bed early. Working tomorrow...
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Didn't your dad have a reverse mortgage on the house?

Lyn, sure wish you return home via east Texas. I have a 30 amp plug, water and a view of a hay field.

Yes, Laura, he did have a reverse mortgage on the house. We will have to pay back about $160K for that.
