Cold Friday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Cold Friday

Morning all,

Another day has begun here in the east. Those on the left coast are still under the covers. Good place to be too, as cold air is pumping down from the Artic for some of us over this way. Temporary setback to spring. It's March, anything goes this time of year.

Barbie, those split rail fences can be a pain when they start to rot. I had to replace 22 posts in mine one year. Fortunately our trash hauler will allow us to put pieces out for pickup, but has to be cut up. Not the whole fence at once of course. I can see your brother not wanting the expense of hauling it away. Unles it detracts from making the property look good for selling. I worked on mine yesterday and took out the section that fell over in the wind due to the rotting post. Not replacing it as don't need all that fence. It is across a pipeline of asement to keep snowmobiles from running through, but here is more than necessary there. Few other posts are rotting too, but I took a couple good ones out yesterday, so will replace the others with them. But first I am going to call the pipeline company and see if a fence is even allowed across the easement. It was put up years ago by first owner here.

BJ, thanks for the tip on the spell correct. Same applies to the IPad, so turned it off. Ys, it can be embarrasing and a nusiance. Carol and Bill, have a safe trip home. Snowbirds will be starting to return up here too little by little. Velda, sorry more bad news, but hopefully this will be caught before it can spread. Good news on the prostrate cancer though. Sarah, glad you are okay. Some people just don't use their heads.

Nothing much on agenda here this morning other than he chiropractor appt. I thoght was yesterday. Checked my calendar and it's this morning. So will head out for that in awhile. Probably work on trip maps and figure out just how extensive I want to make it. Want to keep some funds to head west again too, but probably not this year unless a GTG pops up say in SD perhaps. Seems like a few are going to be out that way. Also need to start tax paperwork as last form should be here before long.

Okay, this is turning into a chapter. Have a nice day everyone.

Good morning
I actually woke up wondering what day it was, lol
I'm told that's normal after retirement, hahaha
Got my stitches out the other day, its still a tad
painfull bending and such. Feels like its pulling
so I must be careful. I think I'm trying to do too
much, too soon.
Bought one of those nifty weeding tools the
day, have been out weeding the gravel a little
at a time each day. Have plenty of cleanup
to do now.
Lyn, if you through my area on your way back
give me a hollar, you can boondock at the casino
and I'll come down and visit. Course there are
some nice campgrounds in the area too.
Time for me t get busy, y'all have a great day.

Not much going on here as usual. I thought we had a cool front come through but when I went out it's not very cool and it's very humid.

I finally called about bringing my motorhome in, which I should have done before I went to Florida. The engine seems to have a problem when I'm going between 40 to 50 mph. Once it gets over 50 it runs fine. Between now and Monday morning I have to clean it out and empty the refrigerator.

Ava, it's a good thing all our electronic stuff tells us what day it is. We have one of the atomic clocks that has the day of the week. Some mornings when I wake up I'm not sure what day it is. But, it's nice to be retired and have that problem.
