Wed nesay, Arch 8th

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Morning,

Chilly after two days of mild temps here. Good day to putter inside. Few things to do in basement, so will do that today. Finishing up loose ends from moving.

Barbie, that statement was supposed to have said that I picked up dog kibble  spell correct messed it up on the first writing, I proofread it, corrected it, and it apparently corrected again, when I posted it. Crazy spell correct. Makes for some interesting sentences doesn't it  Sometimes I think it makes up it's own sentences the way they come out and with words that you never even used those letters to begin with

So, that's about all that's going on around here. Dogs are snoozing, wind is really blowing, I'm still in Jammie's. Really exciting  Hope none of you are areas of those wildfires, keeping safe in path of latest rounds of storms etc. Spring is coming, and before long, it will be time to hit the road. Have a nice day :)

I'm not usually up at this time but one of Harold's friends called at 6:00, so I got up and made coffee. I wish my memory was as good as their's is. They talk about horses from 40 to 50 years ago. After I went back to work and wasn't as involved with the horses there are some that I don't remember.

Annie must have missed me while I was gone. She keeps getting on my desk wanting to be petted. It's hard to see the computer through a fuzzy cat.

Don't know what I will do today. I went to Walmart and ran my errands yesterday. It cooled off last night after the front came through. It was raining hard for a little while but I doubt we got very much. I probably need to go through the bin of mail that came while I was gone. The mail box in town was full.

Good morning! Beautiful blue sky and sun right now but this afternoon the wind is supposed to start blowing again! Guess we'll be getting what you're having now, Sue! The weatherman is still waffling on the storm's path and if we'll have snow into the week end. I spent a good part of the day without power yesterday. Went out a bit before noon and finally came back on about 4. And that's without any bad weather! Penelac said equipment failure, whatever that means! At least it wasn't really cold out so the house didn't cool down much. But they are already saying possible outages with the weather coming in!

I've enjoyed reading and seeing the pics of the FL gtg. Looks like a fun time for all. Sure hoping we can see some of the gals traveling up here in the NE this summer! Not sure yet what I'm doing or going! Need to par down my wish list and make it doable!

I've been fighting with both my tv and cell phone this last few days. I think I finally have it worked out! Sometimes I miss the "old days"! :D I try to stay up on the technology but it sure moves fast! My brain just doesn't compute it all!

Coffee is done so time to play catch up. Was going to vacuum yesterday since the dogs are shedding like crazy but obviously that didn't happen! So need to do it today! Hope everyone has a good day and travel safe!

Sausage and blueberry pancakes this morning. Of course, I had cooked these a couple of days ago and froze extra meals. Sure is nice to have something handy that I can just add syrup to and pop into the microwave!

We had some rain last night, and it is mostly cloudy today, which is fine with me because I REALLY have to get some work done!

It is a hurricane outside! The winds the past couple days have been relentless! Up around 50 to 60 mph! Wind knocked out the neighbors wifi that I have been using so I am at the library right now using theirs.

Now the temps are dropping so the windchill is at 10* right now. So glad I bought that winter coat the other day! Really need it now! Hard to believe we had two tornadoes near here just a couple days ago. Broke the record for earliest tornadoes in MN ever.

The ice is really going out quickly on the lake even with the colder temps. The wind just pushes it around and busts it up.

My brother is still doing good! He is out of ICU now and is starting to eat real food (he was being fed with IV and feeding tube before).

Heading back home to get some more things done there. Just gotta keep plugging away!

Hope you all are safe and happy! :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Afternoon here now, I finally quit being a couch potato and got some stuff done this morning. Took some stuff out of my shed over to my storage unit, went to the grocery store, Home Depot and the pet store for some food for the dog. Came home and separated my meats and sealed them in my new Food Saver and stuck them in the freezer, actually easier than the saran wrap and freezer bag LOL I never thought I wanted one but hey, this is great.

Have a pot of soup on now as it remains chilly here but the snow threats are gone for now. Rain showers off on for the rest of the week and into Tuesday. I just got finished making some coffee for my afternoon Mocha, put the soup on and then our water is off for some reason. I was feeling pretty smug knowing I got soup on, coffee made, and kitchen cleaned up before it went off. So of course I managed to drop my coffee on the floor..............sheesh what a sticky mess with no water. SO got it wiped up with paper towels and stuck the mop in the toilet.....calling it good for now until the water goes back on and I can wash it properly LOL Think I better just park myself in my recliner for a bit and let things settle down.

Yikes Karen ~ good call. Park it in the recliner and give up for the day

Not much new here. Wind storms again (probably the same that Barbie is experiencing). Lost more shingles on the roof today, including the ones, plus a few extra, that a friends hubby put on this past weekend that were lost in last weeks storm. Thank goodness the adjuster is coming tomorrow.

Got a date for getting the house painted in April, so if the paint is done & the roof is fixed, this money pit is going on the market. I'm done dealing with this stuff. At least I have 3 place I could live, 4 if I include Colt for the summer.

Not much else {{{shakin'}}}. Have a good one ladies and stay safe where ever you are.
