Sunshine Saturday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Sunshine Saturday

Sure can tell our regulars are occupied at the GTG. Lucky we even had any posts yesterday. Some I know have moved on, but others remain. Thanks for sharing the fun and pictures with the rest of us.

Sunshine here today.temps only in 20's, but the sun is warm this time of year. Not sure what I am going to do today. Having some issues with either arthritis or muscles in my shoulder/middle back area, so a bit painful. Getting chiropractic treatments, using ice and some over counter pain meds. So not doing a whole lot. May go down to visit some friends later. Shall see. So that's the story from here. Have fun at the remaining days of the GTG, those on the road, safe and enjoyable travels.

Good morning
Went on another adventure Thursday up on the trails and then yesterday I attended a retirement party for the bus yard oldest senior. 30 years driving the bus, she was 81. She finally said enough. It was a good day.
Need to get to the store today and stop by Verizon. My phone is about done as some programs don't want to open and can't use the camera anymore.
Nothing else to tell, y'all have a great day, be safe.
Adding prayers for Soos as she recovers from a stroke.

Good morning all! It's been a crazy few days here weatherwise. We've had warm and then wind and some snow and who knows what today will bring! Cold for sure apparently! Wind started Wednesday evening and into Thursday so decided not to venture out. Yesterday was still somewhat windy and snow squalls. Earlier there was a multi vehicle on I-80 near us and then later in the afternoon a 40 plus vehicle accident on I-99 near State College. I needed to go that way to go pick up my taxes and I checked the weather and it looked like things were calming down so started out. Sun was out even! The long and short of it was that I set in traffic for over 2 hours watching police, ambulances and wreckers go by in the opposite lanes, they closed both sides of the highway. Police finally allowed cars to cross over on the median, no trucks just cars. Oh, and I gave up and headed home since the tax office was closed for the day! Fun way to spend the afternoon! :(
Apparently there weren't any serious injuries so that was good. On 99 there were lots of vehicles detouring from the I-80 accident so felt sorry for them since they didn't know the area and how to get around it all.

So what exciting thing can I get into today!? Probably just stay home and work in the house! I mean, how much trouble can I get into here! Loving the pics and stories from FL gtg. It looks like a fun time! Barbie, hoping your brother continues to improve. Sue, keep thinking June and east!

Well, I've rambled enough so time to get busy and accomplish something today! Hope you all have a good day and travel safe!

Mornin' ladies~~~
Missed the roll call the other day, but I have been reading (right Beth ;) ). Bought some storage things for the new Colt since I ran to the dealer and took measurements and am getting excited to GO!

Need to get ahold of the painter for the colors to be done in the house. I was hoping that was the only thing stopping me from putting the sticks & bricks on the market, but with the tornadoes the other day 1/2 hour away (Ottawa & Naplate, IL), I got roof damage again  so am waiting for the insurance guy to come out. He sounded hopeful that they will give me something towards a new roof, especially since I told him storm repairs have been done in the past. And since I've been keeping up with the repairs...well let's just keep fingers crossed I can get a whole new roof. That would ba a major selling point!

The new boss just keeps getting worse. If the house goes, I have no reason to not walk once I get fed up enough. Saw the financial guy the other day again and he said I'm better off than when we talked in January, so now may do the 401K rollover and get that stuff started, so when it's time it would be all in place instead of waiting 3 months because work is sooooo slloooowww doing the retirement paperwork. If I do keep working I could live with Dad or my Bro-in-law. At Dad's I could park Colt there and live in Colt. We'll see. First things first.

Looks like the FL GTG was a smashing success. I recognized some of the ladies, but not all. That was a big group! Barbie, saw you may rent someplace while the house is on the market. Why not just stay in the house? Still praying for your brother. He has a long road ahead of him. And BELATED HAPPY BIRTHDAY SANDI! Missed that party too unfortunately. I saw someone mentioned Soos had a stroke. :( Hope it was minor (if there is such a thing) and praying she recovers quickly.

That's enough jabbering today. Off to run the weekly errands. Have a good day ladies & stay safe on the road.

I came to the library to do a couple blog posts - and guess what ... forgot my external hard drive where I'd already chosen all the pictures and resized them. So... no blog posts today. But I do have the originals also on my computer so here's a pic of my sunset last night - and yes, it make a difference when I use my camera vs my phone ... phone pics acceptable - camera pics - more what I actually see.

Then this morning I went to Auto Zone to get a light bulb replaced and purchase needle nose pliers. I'm going to go do a post in the maintenance section giving kudos (again) to Auto Zone ... love that store.

I guess Peaches will be happy ... this library trip will be quite short lol

Beautiful sunny day today. I slight breeze to make the warm temps really comfortable.

Late post, but I am here. Drove only 120 miles today from Eastbank to Top Sail. I had heard about this place for a long time, but cost was high, but I wanted to check it out, so I am only here for three days until I move on to a regular FLorida State Park. This was has full hookups, cable tv, and a pool, plus trams to take you to the three miles of beach. Got stuff to do tonight, and I am tired, so bike ride and exploring will happen tomorrow.

More tomorrow.

Getting on here late too...

Worked all day today. My brother had a real estate lady come over to see the house today. He said he was very impressed with all the work I have done so far and how nice it looked. We are getting most of the little stuff out and just have the bigger furniture left. She said this house should sell quickly. Hope she is right!

My old phone died completely yesterday. I got my new smart phone set up last night but am still trying to figure it all out. The girls at work helped me out with some of it.

After work tonight I drove out to Walmart (none close by here so drove about 35 miles to get to it). Went to Target last night and was reminded why I hate that store. Couldn't find half of what I had on my list and what I could find, was really expensive, so I just left my cart and walked out. Tonight I found everything on my list (and then some  ) and for a lot less money. I even found a winter coat on sale for $11. I actually needed that tonight! It was warmer today but the winds were really high and had a cold windchill! Brrr! Put the new coat on when I stopped for gas and that was a lot warmer than my light coat.

Saw a gorgeous sunset tonight while driving to WM! High whispy clouds with a big red sun, and the clouds turned all shades of red, orange, and purple as it set. Looked very similar to the photo Beth posted today. We don't see that here very often.

Tomorrow I have off and will be heading up north with my SIL to see my brother. He is doing OK. The swelling in his head has gone down now but still a lot of swelling in his throat so he still has the breathing tube in. He is awake and aware of his surroundings. A bit of a set back from last week but hopefully will start getting better again soon.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
