Wow! That is a surprise! I completely forgot it was March 1st, let alone "rabbits", I am having such a good time with these Florida women.
I'm fine, Casey is fine and Zipper I is fine....all is well in our world!

I always miss the rabbits roll call, too, Lyn. Can we just say "bunnies?" Glad all is well and you're enjoying everyone. Gonna be nice back here today - almost pool weather. Another darn cold front on the way, tho. Not gonna be as warm when Sharon and I take our 3-day tour to a gorgeous casino. Every time we go there we hope it will be warm enough to enjoy the fabulous pool, but the best we might do is the whirlpool spa (which is wonderful, too).

Good morning! Sunny but still cool here. Warming up again this weekend tho.

Got quite a bit done yesterday but I am back to work today. Had a neighbor down the road stop by, who is interested in the house. I just gave her a tour of the outside and told her to check back in a couple weeks once we get it listed and ready for showing. She and her hubby are just renting a house now.

Am thinking I need to start looking for a place to move to once we get the house on the market. Rents up here are just as high as they are in California for some reason. Studios for about $1K, one bedrooms starting at $1200, and rooms for rent for over $800. I did find an ad for an apartment in a triplex out in the country a little ways (but pretty close to work) for $625. I might go check it out this weekend. It would be for May 1st. I think I need to stay up here for at least the summer to be with my family while my brother recovers, and to put my ducks in a row and decide what I want to do from here.

Nothing much new with my brother. He is holding his own for now.

Sounds like you all are having fun at the FL GTG or planning your spring/summer getaways! I would like to do some more exploring around MN/WI this summer before I head south again. This is such a pretty area in the summertime!

Barbie, I had a neighbor interested in my house when I sold it, and was able to make the sale without having to put it on the market or pay a commission.

Late posting--just arrived at Eastbank Campground on Lake Seminole in Georgia. It is a COE place and only $12 for us seniors. Just across the border from Florida, very close to I-10, so it is a good, cheap spot on the way east or west. Best thing is no boaters or water skiers, or jet boaters allowed on this lake--fishing only. This means lots of old people and no young weekend partiers!!! Perfect!!!!

It was a 312 miles drive. I have no idea how Lyn managed to average 350 miles a day for 7 straight days to get to the GTG! She is a lot tougher than I am, obviously.

Lyn is one tough lady!! :D

My brother had surgery today to release pressure on his brain. It went well and he is awake and responsive. These things scare me so much! I lay awake and pray all night long sometimes.

Gonna be cold tonight, down to 14*!!! Brrr!! But up near 60 by Sunday.

Going to look at that triplex apartment tomorrow morning.

Gotta go eat something and then head to bed early tonight (I keep saying that but I am reading "A Dog's Purpose" and end up staying up too late with that).
