Wet Tuesday Morning

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Wet Tuesday Morning

Good Mornibg,

Damp and rainy here this morning. Sun and possible rcord temps predicted for afternoon. The big meltdown continues. We have about 7 inches of snow here now, down from the 17 that was on ground this weekend. This is about the only area in the lower peninsula that has any snow now.

Barbie, glad to hear your brother is doing better. You will be in my thoughts over the next few months as he goes through the physical, emotional and legal challenges ahead. Judy, glad you are getting the peace and quiet you like. Beth, hope you get to feeling better.

Have a appt. this morning and then off to do a bit of grocery shopping. Will probably take a long dog walk this afternoon again. Looking over map of PA, trying to figure out a route to Gettysburg. Any suggestions would be helpful. Have even thought of meandering down through WV into Maryland and coming in that way too. Also made reservations for staying overnight on way to and from Ft. Wilkins in July.

Have a nice day everyone.Lyn, sent you a PM.

Good morning Sue and all... getting ready to go crafting with the church ladies for what will hopefully be a fall festival with this new church... I'm going to be in Pennsylvania this summer I hope to be able to do GTG and meetups I've been talking with others in the area and they are all willing so I hope you can make it to PA this summer Sue... I am just going to be wondering so some of my GTG might be just impromptu... IfI know for sure someone's going to be in such and such a place then I probably will be there too...B safe ... donna

Well, I finally got myself on the road! I wish I'd been able to do it a week ago, because I'm really remembering why I hate freeway driving. Oh well. Drew is turning out to be a fine highway dog -- he doesn't even try to herd the traffic.

Louise, you made me think of one of the border collies we had. When we evacuated from one of the hurricanes she came with me in the motorhome. She would sit in the passenger seat and stare intently at oncoming cars until they passed and then she would do the same to the next car. I'm sure she was aggravated that something was moving and she couldn't get it. We sure miss Semi. Harold came in recently with a trophy buckle with her name on it. The trainer we bought her from came across it and gave it to Harold. We didn't know she had ever been shown.

It rained all day yesterday and most of the night. It was mostly light rain and most of it has drained off now but everything is wet. It looks like it could rain again.

I pulled out some clothes and shoes to load for my trip. I have a long list of things to do and get. I need to wait until Thursday to get cold groceries because my refrigerator will trip the GFI receptacle sometimes. I hope I can make it past Mississippi my first day and can find somewhere to spend the night. We have been to Florida several times so I kind of know where some campgrounds are.

I tried posting again last night but our power went out for a few minutes from the storm and my post went poof.

Got rid of the trailer yesterday finally! Did some shopping for things needed around the house (cleaning supplies, etc), took a nap and didn't do much else the rest of the day. I am still exhausted!

Just had a friend stop by to check out the dock about removing it. Hopefully, we can get that taken care of soon.

Already have several people interested in the house but still a lot of work to do before listing it.

Gotta get ready for work here soon. Sounds like I will be pretty busy with all my old customers waiting for me.

A beautiful, sunny warm day again here. Gotta enjoy it while it lasts. Back to winter on Friday.

Haven't been keeping up on the news. Hope California isn't getting washed into the ocean yet.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Good morning. It ix still raining here in CA.

Barbie you can hire professional cleaners to clean the house. Some realtors even have a team to do that repairs, paint etc. Hope your brother is doing better.

Raining off and on today, hail for a short while, thunder a few times in distance. Could almost copy and paste that about 5 days of 7 lately! Even sun between rain today. Doing catch up stuff in house today. Mel is actually down playing in his shop for a while, a good sign he feels a little better today at least. I got back to Curves yesterday after a two week flu plus Dr appointments break and was surprised to feel and show numbers that I lost very little ground in two weeks.
Hope all have a good evening since its nearly that for you in the east. One more rain day then a sunny Thursday for us.
