The Last Paddles of My FL Season...sigh

Getting ready to hook up the little white Honda and head north on I-75 tomorrow. Taking a page from Claudia's page book. Drive short days for as long as you can. If the weather cooperated it may take a few days. Sunday I land in Macon, GA, to visit a cousin.

But I made sure that I got the kayaks wet before I had to haul them back north.

So sorry you have to head north already and I won't get to see you again. You sure managed a lot of kayaking and other interesting times into the couple of months you however. Have a safe slow trip home. Hope you find good, warm weather all the way

Beautiful pictures! Sorry you have to head back up here, but if it helps it's super warm right now, and we've had sunshine we don't usually see until summer.

What kind of boat do you have?

I am currently traveling with two different kayaks. I have a Sea Eagle Fast Track which is the one that I took down the Rainbow Springs/River. On Long floats it is very forgiving on tired butts and as Liz expected we were out on the water for 4 hours. I can reposition easier and rest pressure points. I took the Hornbeck out on Orange lake. It is slightly easier to paddle and move through the water and moves through small channels, stream and coves the easiest. It also weights only 14 pounds and is also the easiest to move around on land. :)

Yay for kayaking! Sorry about the early return -- but many more adventures await, yes?
