Hello !! I suppose everyone is busy getting ready for a fun weekend I hope so anyway. Travelers enjoy for all of us as the weather or crud has us stopped. I noticed Sue started a thread for summer plans, not sure I need to mention mine, same ole, same ole for couple years now !!

Not much happening here, at my DDs doing laundry and trying to surprise her with a few of her chores done, my birthday present to her(Sunday). Thought it would be one she could really use, working hours she does.

Breaks over, just hated we had no post going for today,

Hello Carol and everyone... Carol maybe you could come towards Pennsylvania and maybe we could have some get-togethers with some others that might be in the Northeast... just a thought... will Anita left this morning headed back towards Orlando way I'm on going to do some work I don't know what but something... I posted on the thread that Sue started about summer plans if anybody wants to check it out I won't repeat it here... more paperwork pop. For the estate of course... I know that this is soon going to be all over with times it gets to me while I'm doing it though I'm laughing as I say this girl... I probably did something that you guys won't much like but I killed a black snake ... it was living out back by the patio in that hole that's in the wall of the house were Ron fixed the drain in the kitchen and has not closed it back up yet ...I was worried about that ....and lo and behold it happened so don't yell at me I know I probably did bad but I can't help myself I do not absolutely positively do not like snakes... besides that it struck out at Pheebe that's how I found it she jumped about a mile high... all from me for now...B safe...donna

Good morning, its still morning for me,,,,
Its a little overcast today, suppose to rain tomorrow so I'm trying to get some outside stuff
done today. Will also try to get sheets and towels laundered today. Have been
getting a few things organized around here, extra stuff packed in tubs, and clearing
out the shed more and more. Still need to sort through tools.

Yesterday was a full day of repair guys. The heating unit had a breaker getting so hot it was about to melt and some other part that was burnt. Probably a good way to set the house on fire. I'm glad it happened when we were home.

The phone guy showed up and I'm glad my son was here to argue with him. He said someone must have cut a wire under our house. Under our house is encased in brick and the cats can't even get under there. No one had been under our house when the phone stopped working. He finally found a bad wire coming into the house.

I'm debating on whether to go to town or do something constructive. lol Doing nothing will probably win out.

Donna, I'd have done the same. Really don't like snakes but tend to leave them alone... but go after my dog and I'd make minced snake in a hurry.

Still sick here, the new meds helped me sleep last night so that was a nice change.

I am now in Cameron, MO just north of Kansas City. Got a nice large room in an independent motel that allows pets for free. They also provide free breakfast!

Lola was good and quiet today. She is enjoying the large room here to roam around in.

Lots of driving around and thru cities today with lots of traffic. I don't care for that so much with the trailer, but no problems.

Tomorrow I want to leave early and get to the house by 3pm or so. Need to get the trailer unloaded and dropped off right away. Then Sunday I can work on getting settled in. I have Monday off and then start back to work on Tuesday thru Friday.

Hope the dam in Oroville holds out this week! Sounds precarious!
