Members on the Gulf Coast during January

I am on my way to the Coast tomorrow, hoping to stay at one of the state parks. I am hoping there might be some of the members in the area. If so please contact me on General Talk or send a private message either one or both. I am really looking forward to it. I have been in Brandon to see my nephew play basketball and hopefully catch a game on my way back also. I am taking him to eat tonight then get up early romorrow and leave for the coast.

You might need to be a little more specific than "Gulf Coast" as that stretches from Texas to Florida. Hope you have a wonderful trip.

I'll be going to Gulf Shores first. I had hoped to stay at Ft Walton or Destin but they seem to be full. I still might go and see if there are any cancellations I feel my best shot is Gulf Shores State Park. If I don't see anybody this time I hope to another..It's hard for me to make long term commitments but I will enjoy the ocean, walking on the cool sand and eating the great food. It's just always more fun with company. I have spent 3 days in the Jackson MS area to see my nephew play ball and tonight I'm treating him to a restaurant of his choice. I just told him he better know how to get us there. Happy New Year to all.

Wendy has been storing her RV at Gulf Shores and driving down from Birmingham now and then. She doesn't get on forum much any more but I'll let her know you are going.
In case you don't remember, you met me and her at Deer Run in Crossville, TN - think in 2012.
