Finally Friday....

Good morning everyone pretty chilly here in Central Florida coast but I don't mind one bit... I'm making good progress with all this estate and my stuff purging and packing really happy with progress so far... today I might take a break for a while in the morning... on my side door of the RT latch broke it holds the door open and it's went to far back and crack some of the lower bumper whatever you call that area it's all plastic .... Roadtrek is an expensive vehicle and they put cheap plastic on it.... I have tried several RV repair places but they tell me they can't do it I have to take it to the Chevy garage so I might do that this morning... will be heading out to Hardee lakes next week I'm excited I can't wait... I did a new configuration of the bed in the Roadtrek... made a single bed across the back I think I will have more room for tossing and turning...Pheebe seems okay with it she can lay on her pillow / bed and look out the window... sometime in the next couple of weeks so I will be contacting estate sale people and see what I can come up with... things are starting to pile up in the garage again so I think I'm going to have a small garage sale when I get back from Hardee Lakes nothing strenuous that's going to hurt my back or my belly ( abdominal hernia).... after that back the car up throw it in trunk & take it to Goodwill... well I better get busy have a good one & B safe....donna

Good morning! It's a beautiful winter morning here in McIntosh. High of 60 degrees predicted. Thistle loved the cool temps on his morning walk. The jello hasn't set on today's plans. Maybe some more organizing in the RV. Or not. I finally got my Wii set up again yesterday. It informed me that it has been a year and a half since I last exercised with it, and it showed with poor performance when I did.

Sounds like you are moving right along Donna. Yep, there is that light at the end of the tunnel and the more progress one makes, the faster it seems to come. I've been busy in my basement, organizing down there. Getting the boxes from moving unpacked etc. plan to tackle the last store room today and have some things that will be heading to Salvation Army store as well. Then the basement will be done. Time to get back to painting etc., upstairs. Going to have to do some snow removal later as well, as we are having a Lake Effect Winter Storm again and it's piling up out there. A clipper coming through tomorrow too, with a bit more. So will go out this afternoon and blow snow. Am also doing my old drive for about a week, till new neighbors get back from TX. Neighbor across road was doing it, but left for FL yesterday. Need the fresh air and exercise.

So, that's my day plan, for today. Have a nice day everyone.

What kind of exercises can be done on a Wii. I have thought about getting one but don't know how they operate. The only time I ever used one was at a party and we were playing some kind of game. I am still having the issue with the pain in my foot. After buying 3 different kinds of shoe inserts I have found that if I make myself wear my old custom orthotics I have pain with every step but my foot is much better the next day. Guess I am going to have to make myself wear them all the time.

The cold front came through here yesterday. Today it's only 51 but not near as windy. It's suppose to warm back up to 70 tomorrow but with 100% chance of rain. The people that sell fireworks are not going to be happy.

I have everything for New Years dinner except the cabbage so have to go to town today or tomorrow. I have a couple of farm checks to deposit so guess I need to go today and get them in the right year. I found an new recipe to cook the cabbage in a rice cooker. It's kind of a rice dressing with cabbage in it. We'll see how that goes over.

CC has found out that someone in the kitchen means possible food. We have created another monster. If I'm standing at the counter doing something he is sitting on my feet.

Good Morning Everyone !! This morning sunrise pictures are gorgeous !! I brought my WII into my DDs for oldest grand to do the bowling sports games with friends, when I was here Thanksgiving. Doesn't work well in my RV. Seems I'm here a lot so will use it here. This morning checked in been almost two years since I've been on it. I've gained, BMI is horrible and I'm unbalanced so the body test said and the Balance games I love agreed, I am very unbalanced and you all can take the meaning either way you choose and you'll be right !!! I knew it would be bad results but this winter when here will play on it and see if it helps my falling apart self !!

My dd has a long week end coming up, I'm glad for her, she needs another time with extra days off. She and children have an invite to a friends, at her beach house. Ami, told her would be cold, she says she has hot tub and heated pool . Ami, had not decided as of last night, she usually doesn't like to be out on holidays weekends. I won't go, have ideas of how to spend that time if she decides to go.

Two days and we're into another year. Time goes too fast !!

Good morning gals!

Sunny and up to 70* today. Then rain tomorrow and cooler. No plans for New Years Eve, but I always get up the next morning and watch the Rose Parade. Love that! Saw it in person 6 years ago. Someday I want to volunteer to help decorate one of the floats!

Apparently, I am the go-to person at work to complain to. The stylist who is leaving went on a rant about the manager the other night with me. The next night I worked with the manager and she went on a rant about the stylist with me. I just try to mind my own business and stay out of it all. Apparently, they feel I am safe to rant to because of that.

Anyways, only 4 weeks left of working there and then on to my new life back in California! Hope the drama is a lot less there! My old manager there doesn't put up with drama so hopefully it will be better. That shop was good when I worked there before but I don't know how many of the same stylists are still there now.

Need to do laundry and pay bills here before heading off to work later. Payday today! Also need to get appointments made to get my car window fixed and another massage.

Will have to look into that Wii thing and see if I need to get one...sounds interesting!

I use Wii Fit Plus with a Wii Balance Board. Exercises include yoga/stretching, strength training, aerobic exercises and balance games. I do about 10 minutes of each type/day...when I do it. I do feel a difference when I do it regularly. It also tracks your weight, bmi, exercise progress, and gives feedback on your balance, form etc.

Still at Ortona for one more day, then up to Alafia near Tampa for two days, and finally to Silver Springs for two days, and seeing a cousin briefly. Then flying out of Tampa Airport to Ohio to visit grandkids and see a doctor.

Love the really cold weather here!! Not because I like cold weather, but because it will slow the mosquitos down a bit. I was outside at dusk last night chatting with a neighbor and got attacked again, but I took a quick Benadryl and have not found any new bites, so hope it is OK.

Got a load of laundry to do and will check on otters when I am down there. It is a long walk to laundry facility, so will visit birds and otters while I am down there. I will probably even have to wear a jacket--first time in three months doing that!!

Settled in Tucson and it is windy and chilly. The sun managed to peek out for a bit mostly cloudy right now. Also discovered the speedway is right behind me LOL Had not heard anything until this morning but doesnt really bother me much.

Meeting up with a couple of friends this weekend then will meet up with Beth and Sandi next week for the Desert Museum. Fun fun fun.
