Morning Carolb. Yp, 2016 is moving right along. Looks like mom nature is going to go out with a bang. Heavy snow in NE and even a tornado warning in GA as I write this. Winter Storm Warning for us here, for lake effect snow later today. Good day to hunker inside. Play down in my craft storage room and get that organized. All that stuff is still in boxes from the summer move. Thinking of taking down outside Christmas lights while it's quiet outside and no snow on the window boxes at the moment.

I too am enjoying reading the plans or hopes for next year. Sounds like some fun things. Hope to get to some GTG's myself. Inaugural RV show gonna be held here in a couple weeks. Indoors at a new venue. Local dealer. Admission is three non perishable items or cash donations. Neat idea. Going to local homeless shelter. Get to go dream. Hope weather is good.

Time to move on here. Hope ya'all have a good day.

Good Morning Everyone !, I've set and added my comments to some of the threads on the forum this morning and now I need to get busy  :o I'm kind of caught up, I think

I'm at my DDs about40 miles north of our gtg at Hardee Lakes. Grands last week of vacation and we've enjoyed it. I get lots of hugs now, they've seen me soooo much in past couple of years and decided I am an ok Gram I guess !! :) Of course, I'm loving it ! But I'm about ready for good adult conversation too

That's about it for my news, just checking in, really. have a great day all !!!!

I have to move five spots down the row today, but the people camping in my new spot are still laying in recliners with nothing ready to move out, even though checkout is in half an hour! And they have a popup, but at least now I know what their truck and trailer look like and will see it as it drives by. I am anxious to get set up in the new spot so I can put my awning up, as sun is very bright.

Been enjoying my time between semesters. I still need to put new rings in my toilet, and I paid $46 for a new set of middle rings, but I have absolutely NO IDEA where I put them! :? They have to be here somewhere. In the meantime, my bathroom has a slight odor because the one ring is really slid over slightly and the toilet will not hold water. Oh well, when I move today, I will do more searching in underneath bins. Might even have to tear up everything under my bed, which would be a disaster.

At least it gives me a good excuse to put this task off!

Good morning all. I moved to Tucson yesterday. I plan on kicking around here for a couple of weeks. I want to visit with some friends I have here, and Beth, and go see Tombstone and Bisbee area. The Desert Museum is on my agenda along with the Pima Space Museum. And whatever else I find interesting to me. Then will make my way slowly back to Quartzsite. This will be my first time there this time of year. Will need directions on how to find everyone once I get there but I have time.

Heard a few sprinkles on the roof and it is cloudy but will be 70 today so nothing I have to shovel or build an ark for. Guess some groceries are on my agenda today before the New Years eve rush for snacks. I will be staying home and just watching some tv or one of the movies I have...safer that way.

Good Morning
Storms have moved out but still under wind advisory. Got sunshine too but much cooler. One good side effect of all the wind is that the last of the leaves are finally down (well maybe a few remain). As soon as they dry out will get someone to clean gutters again and that should do it until Apr when the oaks shed blooms.
Getting more comfortable with my first smart phone except for the size. Got the larger version thinking easier on stiff fat fingers and poor eyes but carrying it around is presenting a new challenge.
No interesting plans for what little remains of 2016 but a big to do list of mundane stuff.
Enjoy your day

Mornin' ladies (at least it still is in Chitown) ~~~
Early dismissal today from work woohoo!!! and tomorrow & Monday off too. Then the long stretch into the next holiday of Memorial Day. My project from _ _ LL is supposed to go live the first weekend of February. Finally! It's been a long road. Also found out a I have a new manager starting next Wednesday, so we'll see how that goes. His first priority to my understanding, is to get the website developers to stop argueing. Good luck with that! Maybe the guy will be so busy he'll leave me along. I can only hope.

Sue, there is a new / small RV show here too in a north suburb in January. I'm planning on going to that show on a Saturday (bummer), but I still have Friday scheduled off in February for the big RV show at Rosemong. They guy at CW told me that at the Boat & RV show, the RV area keeps getting downsided, so they are starting a new show themselves, and if it goes well, they will all pull out of the boat show. Never went to the boat show anyway because I haven't gone into the city for eons.

Planning an revisiting 2 dealers this weekend too to look at a couple of models again.

Sarah & Carol, sure hope you both get a good chance to get on the road and stay there this year. Heck with the houses! Being on the road is good for the soul.

Well, better get some work done for the last 3 hours of 2016. If I don't make it here, sure hope everyone has

Found my toilet seals. Darn. :)

Irishroamer--love your new boss's goal! Been there, but luckily in my last job (and my current part-time job) people left me alone.

Good Afternoon! Another quick check in from the visitor center. Had an air boat ride earlier - loved it. Weather is still quite warm but cooler nights. Sure miss having Internet access!

Everyone's having so much fun.

Karen, if it can work out, I'd love to go to the Desert Museum with you. Almost went today. It's one of my absolute favorite places!

I said basically the same to Sandi, but told her if you wanted to go a different date, I'd go twice. Will be fun if all three of us can go together.

Right now I think I could go Tuesday, Wed, Thurs next week. Wednesday looks the best, right now, weatherwise.
