The survey was done by Trailer Life Magazine. Maybe Motorhome Magazine has one too. I take both magazines but haven't read one in a while.

Possibly. But they did include Truck campers.

Truck Camper information, reviews etc., are part of Trailer Lifemagazine. I think because like trailers, they can be off loaded and left at a campsite, thus leaving the truck free for exploring. You want information on Class B's, C"'s, etc., you will have to get Motorhome Magazine.

You can find the Motorhome readers' choice awards at the web site for the Motorhome Magazine. It's published in the January, 2017 issue. I'm not too impressed with their awards when they gave Camping World a Gold.

Martha, the info came to me via email. Trailer Life sends me highlights of different things from time to time as part of my subscription, but I also get the magazine as well. Motorhome Magazine is the sister publication and is all motorhome oriented. So you gals with MH's need to refer to that one.

I am with Martha on the Camping World Gold! I would be counting the ads in the magazine. I certainly don't agree on a lot of their awards. But my take is on the time on the road talking with folks and seeing what all rigs are in the repair shop for what problem. I also wonder about their reader base for how long camping or full time, how long they owned their rig and how many rigs.

Years ago we used to get the motor home edition, but after several years let it go because at that time it was mostly information for Class A 's not our lowly 21 footer . Our friends who spent winters with us had Trailer Life, so there have been two separate magazines for years and years. Both with good info for whichever magazine you're reading and always an article of somewhere you just have to travel too, I loved those articles. Plus they have the Highways magazine for members,Of Good Sam's , a mailed mag or online version. I love the tech articles in them.

So whatever RV you have they have a Magazine for you

The results of the awards are from readers of the magazine, those who are both full time and just occasional users, based on their experiences. So it was the same as talking to people on the road and in campgrounds. They are the people who nominated the best of the best, the everyday RVers, not the magazines editors etc.
