Donna - Sounds like you should do something fun! It's a balmy 36 on my patio here in So. Cal. Hope it gets to 50 before heading out for errands.

Cheer up!

I agree, Donna. You need to do something fun, even if it a walk somewhere!

I arrived at Ortona South yesterday, and apparently missed Anita by just a couple of hours, per the check-on lady. She was very impressed with Anita's slingshot. I hope she eventually was able to see the otter who lives here. I think all of Florida is sunny and warm. I wish the nights were a bit cooler, but that is supposed to come later in the week.

Going to have a relaxing day today. I spent a couple of hours last night helping the instructor who will take over the third online class. He's taught the class several times in a classroom, but has not used the online system, so he has a lot to learn, but I am happy to help. My two classes are enough for me!

Good morning
Just doing a few chores lately, nothing important going
on here. Need to do a little research on propane tanks,
regulators and what else pertains to that. Think I have
an issue there, just not sure what it is.
Dishes are done, laundry is done, now to sort through
mail and clear off the table from these last two weeks
of accumulation. Medical bills,,,,not fun!!
Y'all have a great day and be safe.

At one of the Big Cypress Visitor Centers for Internet. Judy, saw several otters - particularly playing on the other side of the water and then running back across the dam! Posted on FB but can't get the link on my tablet.

Gonna be pretty much AWOL. I hear there are manatees out back - gotta go!

Mornin' ladies ~~~

Ava your comment about propane brought up a question (so what else is new?) :? ). I've noticed at dealers when wandering around the lot, that it looks like TT manufacturers are replacing the 30# propane tanks with 20#. CW told me it's because the smaller tanks can get filled or turned in easier for refills (i.e. Home Depot, Lowes, etc).

Anyone else heard that? I'd rather have the bigger ones since after 2 summers, I'm still on my first 2 tanks. Any thoughts?

Getting in here right under the noon wire!!

Just posted the photo of me and Lyn from our visit last week, in the Get Together thread.

Off to work in a bit. Sun is out and supposed to be 70 today.

Nothing much else to say. Posted last night about all the drama going on at home and work  . Hoping that will quiet down soon!

Have a good day! :D

Thanks for that picture, Barbie. Love it.

The 20 lb tanks can be replaced almost anywhere, and that is the way many places are going. That said, those of us with A's and C's have to have our tanks filled. This past summer I learned the propane company that comes to where I park to fill us, is not allowed to fill those tanks, 20 or 30 lb. when out and about. You have to come to their location. So you would need to find a location that will fill them. And where I last filled my permanent tank, they had a minimum gallons, which you may or may not reach. So decide what's best for you knowing how/where you'll be filling them... Especially on the road.

I just got back from Walmart a little while ago. It was so nice, I could shop without people running over me. I woke up with a headache and it has been hanging on all day. I needed to go to the post office or I wouldn't have gone to town today.

They are saying on the news that Carrie Fisher died. This year has not been a good year to be famous. We have lost so many celebrities.

Barbie, I know you will be glad to be out of all the drama. You have it at home and at work.

I think our local propane company closed so don't know where the people that use propane get it from. It's been a few years but I got my tank filled at the KOA in Lafayette.

It got up to 82 today and rained on me going to and coming home from town. We have rain every day except one in the 10 day forecast.

Thanks for the propane info Beth. I was looking at it more as 'more propane - less need to fill', but guess the 'fill more often - and easier to replace' is something to think about too.

Not sure if this is anywhere else, but Menard's by me is filling propane tanks now too.
