Merry Christmas! Different Christmas in South Dakota! It's raining! And we have thunder. :o
My mind works like lightning...one brilliant flash and it's gone.

Merry Christmas to all.

I've made a little progress with the new phone - at least I can make/answer call and text. Going to have to find clothes with BIG pockets - this thing is a monster compared to my little flip phone.

Like some of you have already mentioned, being a member of the forum has certainly changed my life. I actually joined mainly to keep up with an old friend (Sparkle). Little did I know it would lead to a new dimension in my life and so many wonderful friends who have now become my family.

Thank you for enriching my life and all your support thru the ups and downs of it all.

Merry Christmas to a great bunch of gals.

I thank each and every one of you for being so kind and supportive since I first became a member a few years back.

I'll join others here in saying do what you want to do now... You may not get another chance.

Happy adventures on into the New Year! :-)

Merry Christmas everyone.

Sarah, I don't like the size of my phone either. It's too big to put in my pocket but it was the right price, free. lol My son changed to a Google phone and gave me his old phone. It is usually laying on my desk so I go off and forget it too often.

It seemed like I cooked a lot of food today but there aren't many leftovers so guess it wasn't too much. Harold's friend came for lunch and I sent him a plate home.

Some of us were on the old RV America forum and moved over here when Beth started this forum. I feel like I could head out across the country and run into one of my friends from here just about anywhere. I am thankful for you all, the ones I have met and the ones I will meet. I know anyone can read what we post but I don't feel like it's as public as the Facebook posts. And my family doesn't know what I'm up to. lol Harold's friend ask if I ever go to Florida and Harold said that's too far for me to go. So I guess if I make it to the GTG in Florida I will be in Mississippi.

Adding my thoughts and appreciation for the wonderful friends I have made all across the country through this forum. I love reading about everyone's adventures and meeting up with you on my travels. You have uplifted me during difficult times and rejoiced with me during the good times. Here's wishing all of us a wonderful year of adventures ahead in 2017. And yes, Martha, we'll all vouch for you in Florida/Mississippi.

Merry Christmas, a belated Happy Hannuka, and Good Wishes to all for a New Year!

I've been lurking around all day trying to decide what to say, but so many of you have already said it so well. This forum gave me confidence when I was planning to full-time and shopping for a motorhome and furnishing it and confirmed I could do it, even if my younger son said I would crash and burn before I got 200 miles down the highway! Or maybe get assaulted and raped before I made it to California that summer!

In the past 4+ years, the forum has made me feel as if I belong to a family that I could call on if I had problems along the way, since there are so many of you all spread across the country. The best part was how sharing everyone was and how nice it was to meet such an independent group who had the answers to so many of my questions in those first years. And it has been even nicer to have met so many of you in person.

And the best part is that my kids and non-RV friends would never even think to look here, so even if this is public, it still gives us a level of privacy from our families. So, I will tell you all that I have another adventure planned for April/May 2018--I am going to go to Malta and London. Why Malta? Because I stopped there on a cruise 8 years ago and never got to see it because I spent the day doing really dumb things with a friend. It's bothered me ever since. So, I have that travel bug again. Just have to figure out how to pay for it now. Shhhh. See you in Mississippi, Martha.
