Good morning and Merry Christmas.
Love the contrast of the photos between MI snow and MX sunrise. A gray rainy Christmas Eve here but sunny and warm forecast for tomorrow. No plans here.
Rain hasn't started yet and I'm trying to decide if I want to tackle blowing leaves out of driveways before rain arrives. I need the exercise and if I use a mask might make it without stopping my head up any worse than it already is.
Bought myself a Christmas present late yesterday - my first smart phone. Haven't gotten much past turning it off and on yet. Guess it will keep me entertained much of the weekend trying to figure out how to use it. Hope this old dog is still up to learning a few new tricks.

Good morning Sue and Sarah! Cloudy here this morning in Phoenix.
Slept really good last night! Was crazy busy at work yesterday! They called me in early and I worked non-stop for 7 hours! Got almost $100 in tips tho!

No big plans here. Will post some photos/video from my quick trip to SD. Maybe laundry and reading. Will go to church this evening. Tomorrow no plans at all. Not sure what my roommate and her family are doing so may or may not join in with them.

Hope you all have a great Christmas weekend, whatever your plans are!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Cheesecake for elevenses here. I ran out to pick up a prescription yesterday and came back with cheesecake, wine, cream, and good cheese. Let the holiday indulgence commence!

I like the contrast too between the snow and the tropics. It's already 77 here and they are saying 80 for tomorrow.

I decided to go to Lafayette yesterday and that was a mistake. OMG the traffic was bad. It took several light changes to get through intersections. The turn lanes were backed up so far that they blocked the other lanes. I hope I have everything for tomorrow because I don't want to go back to town.

Sarah, good luck with your new phone. I don't like that my phone is smarter than I am. At least I have live-in tech support. It is handy if you are out and need to find a store or restaurant.

Could use some milk, but there is no way I am going to the store driving my big rig to get it!! Will manage without it instead.

Took the slow airboat tour yesterday, and might take a bike ride to the far end of the park today and tomorrow. Amazing how packed this state park has been. You can tell by the license plates that most of them are people from cold places taking a holiday vacation in warm and sunny Florida. Don't blame them.

Going to use this time between semesters to get some cleaning and reorganizing done. Way, way overdue!

Have a good holiday, all!

Pouring rain again here in Salome, AZ. Should mean a great display of flowers come spring.
Merry Xmas to all.

Good morning and MERRY CHRISTMAS to all!! Rained most of the day yesterday and it sure has been cold. Today blue sky, sunny and cold again.
Sue and Carol thanks for the beautiful contrasting pictures.

My roommate's daughter is here for Christmas. She is a model and actress from Hollywood. She needed a dress today for their family get together so I loaned her one that I had bought and wore for a fancy work party last year. It is teal, with lace and sequins. It fits her perfect! (she is taller than me so it is shorter on her but she has the long legs to pull it off!)

Madeline Blake with her mom Veronica (their outfits even match!)

Merry Christmas Eve!
A beautiful sunshiny cool day here in LA.
Barbie, that dress looks fabulous - bet it looks great on you!
Martha, traffic & stores were crazy here too, but today things have calmed down as it typically does on Christmas eve.
Sarah, mentioning blowing leaves out of the driveway reminded me why I'm happy not to have a house at the moment. Enjoy your new phone. I remember being in the t-mobile store a few years ago when a lady came in needing help with her new smart phone. There was a long line of folks waiting for service & as folks in line sometimes do, conversations started. She was there because she couldn't figure out how to make or answer a phone call. ;) Other people in line helped her out & she was on her way.
Just going to finish up a few things today & then go to mass. Love seeing all the excited kids in their Christmas finery.

Hope each of you are showered with joy & peace this Christmas. You are some of the neatest people, I've been blessed to know.
Merry Christmas!

Catherine, I was fussing about something with my phone at my friends house a young person showed me how to fix it. Nothing comes with manuals anymore and people(like me) that are clueless are up the creek.

Judy, I have seen the milk in Walmart that doesn't have to be refrigerated before it's opened. I don't know what it tastes like but maybe you could keep some in reserve for milk emergencies.
