Good Morning Ladies, received an early Christmas present....Sold the house and will close after Christmas. Moving things into storage and selling/donating lots!! Will still have to get rid of more things later. We are excited to be starting this new life on the road.

I''m baaaacccckkkkk! After a few inquiries on here and via PM's, thought I had better make a post sonyou know I''m still alive. Betty, that's wonderful news. Time to follow your dream. You are gonna have a busy few weeks with the holidays thrown in the mix. Congratulations.

Been busy herevtoo with working in my den, running errands, helping neighbor put up new light fixtures here including a dusk/dawn light on the garage. Course that entailed a trip to town for a part and also return a light fixture with a broken cover etc. Then the power company tree trimmers came through and now my big Maple is all trimmed nicely. Got a little pile of logs under it. There's a lot of wood piled up or laying in the neighborhood as some trees had to totally come down. Smelled like fresh cut pine and other wood all over. Neighbor is going to take my wood. Said neighbor also got free Christmas tree as she asked if they could top a big spruce they had to take down and they did. So been a busy week here.

So, time to get busy here. Want to finish my new closet organizer and get my den done, so I can move on to painting guest bedroom and put the bed back up. It's gracing the spare bathroom right now  Have a nice day everyone.

Good morning to all - expecting rain later here today in Mazatlan and all day tomorrow. Congratulations Betty on the sale of your home. Can't believe how much you get done Sue. Makes me want to take a nap after reading your post.
We are just enjoying being here. Have had minor maintenance done to the Jeep. Talked to a painter yesterday so he will probably pick up Willie, the Jeep, some time next week - take off the vinyl graphics and
redo them with paint. Then Bill wants to add a matching graphic to the new RV... no comment.
No plans for today. At least it will be cooler for a few days.
Enjoy the day everyone and travel safe.

Betty, I'm so excited for you!

Yesterday was a fun day in Tombstone. Lunch was great and, Raleigh, who played Saturday nights at the ranch I worked last winter was playing. He's really good, so that was wonderful.

We stopped at a ghost town, Fairbank, on the way back. We'll try to get back to it when we have more time. It's quite an interesting place with lots of history.

No real plans for today except maybe a run to the grocery store. And possibly rain here in the desert tomorrow!

Big time computer problems, so have to drive down the road to get cell service so I can go online with them. After three 2.5 hour sessions over the past month, it turns out they think my operating system is corrupted so they have to replace, which means I have to back everything up. Can't type much, so hopefully will have a computer later to get back with you.

Sometimes functions don't work and clicking on stuff does not work. Takes several tries to boot up--5 this morning. Wont let me enter password or click on anything once I boot so I have to reboot. :x

Well I am still on the move on my journey south. It is not going very fast, I keep staying a little longer in each stopover city as I have had friends to visit LOL Now I am in Bakersfield and had good plans to leave early this morning but the news said big winds where I was going...gusting up to 45-60mph NO THANKS So new plan is to leave Sunday as the winds are supposed to be "mild". Will tackle the Tehachapi pass then on down towards Needles and Quartzsite. Trying to be in Yuma by Tuesday. Lets hope so.

Three hours online with Dell and not fixed. They got as far as almost uploading new operating system, but it would not let me click on the box to agree with terms and conditions. Not being able to click on things sometimes is one of the problems I have been having, so this is a Catch 22.

Sometimes takes me 4-5 tries to log in because it will not let me enter text into login box. Then when I get to main screen, sometimes none of the icons work so I have to reboot again.

Will limp along and try again next Wednesday. I am getting farther and farther behind on getting work done.

Oh, JudyB, I sure hope they can get your computer fixed. I can only imagine how frustrating this is for you.
Congrats, Betty! Time moves quickly - hope you have some folks lined up to help. Keep us in the loop as time allows.
Sue, busy as a bee as usual. Love the idea your neighbor had of using the tree top for a Christmas tree.
Looking forward to a normal weekend so I can get some cleaning & organizing done.
Take care,
