Wednesday 11/13 (unless you like 11/23 better!)

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Wednesday 11/13 (unless you like 11/23 better!)

Starting to rain here in Ohio. Made the dogs come in. Have opened the low point drains and emptied out the water heater on the rig. I already have some pink stuff in the gray and black tanks but need to switch the by pass on the heater and throw some more down the drains and traps. I keep the electric heater on while parked in the driveway but always drain the pipes while I wait for my great escape towards the south later this month. I won't be heading south until after the Cleveland shows the second weekend in December and I won't even try to use the rig in Cleveland. Those shows are notorious for wicked weather. I will be Red Roofing it.

Both the car and the rig are scheduled for routine work and checkup before I head south and both Audrey and Remi are scheduled for their annual vet visits. No plans for Thanksgiving Day. Could be pizza, peanut butter or a good soup. But I will still be thankful for all my blessings. Hope everyone finds their own joy these days and continue to find and/or define their own adventures.

Happy Thanksgiving eve...

Working this afternoon. Nothing planned for tomorrow. May pick up some turkey from Boston Market tonight for a little meal tomorrow. Otherwise, just another day. Very bittersweet tho, knowing what is going on at Standing Rock yet...

Have decided to limit my time on FB for awhile since it was just depressing me too much. I still check for messages and comment on a cute/funny post here and there but that is it. Once I start seeing the political stuff I have to get off there. I need to focus on more positive things right now.

Hope you all have a nice Turkey Day whether that is alone, with friends, with family, quiet, rowdy, at home, on the road, etc. Eat well and take a long nap!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Its not really morning anymore but just checking in case I don't
get on here tomorrow, y'all have a great Thanksgiving.
I know what you mean Barbie, I feel totally burned out on
FB. I try to fix my brain by posting funny stuff in hopes others
could use the humor as well.
Dinner with son at his dads tomorrow, and I'm taking a guest.
Daughter has to work so she's doing the dinner on Friday.
Some of my test results have come back from last weeks little
health episode,,,,seems I've got more stones in the making,
Kidneys and gall bladder so I was told to be aware of the pain
around the corner. Will drink lots of water and try to get them
moved out before they get too big.
Not much else on my side of the world, enjoy your day and be safe

Back on the road for me. Had a hiccup with my lights. Everything hooked up and nothing on the car was working. I sometimes have had to jiggle the cable for the left taillight. But nothing. Next thing I knew 1/2 a dozen folks were there and one took the cable off, cleaned just about anything there that could be cleaned and voila... except the left taillight lol. Took it apart more, cleaned more, jiggled, and working. He says I need to replace the cable between the car and rig. Stopped twice today go do so and neither place had one with the type of connections I have.... But it's working and I have time.

Boondocking at a city park and back on the road tomorrow. I think, wherever I end up tomorrow I'll try a chicken recipe in my pressure cooker. Even boondocking, it cooks so fast I don't mind running the generator to make something more "difficult". I already told Peaches it's eggs for dinner tonight ... When I have eggs, that's her dinner protein.

Lol, Tina, I didn't notice. You could edit the header if you want.

I assisted this morning with herb buttering the turkey and getting it to the smoker. Then headed to Curves. Had rain overnight and some menacing dark clouds between sunshine today, but otherwise it's a good day. I have several things to get done ths afternoon to make tomorrow go faster. Wishing all of you a happy Thanksgiving. Those on the road, watch out for the crazy people and stay safe. Appreciate you all for letting me participate even though we don't often get out.

I have decided Thanksgiving is a lot of work. I have made over 10,000 steps on a foot that I should be resting. Right now a Turkey TV dinner sounds good. I made my dressing and potatoes today. Tomorrow I have to cook a stuffed chicken, a turkey breast and some vegetables. It will just be the 3 of us and a friend.

I decided I needed to go to town again and it rained. We only got about 1/4 inch but it looked like there was more in town. It was back up to 81 again. Better than 61. I stopped by the campground yesterday afternoon to visit with the friends still camping. They were making Smores and I had my first one. I guess I can count it, I didn't put chocolate on it.

It's already dark and I need to go put CC up and feed the outside cats.

I had to have not the cord, but the plugs on RV and car replaced last year due to corrosion. My connections have worked perfectly all this year since I had that done.
