Nice to hear what y'all are doing! Not posting since I'm doing nothing, but thought I'd say a quick hi. Also, Donna, thinking about our times together last November:) Almost a year now since we found Pheebe!

The winter storm went through here the past couple days. Not much snow where I am, but within 10 miles & at higher elevations, a lot! The wind was brutal though, & thankfully today it has subsided.

And speaking of being thankful, will wish y'all a wonderful Thanksgiving Day:) Who knows if I'll get around to posting before then, so want to say how much I appreciate all of you

Good morning Carolb and all follow... I know Carol I cannot believe it will be a year with my Pheebe she has come a long way... then we were definitely meant for each other that's for sure I don't know what I'd do without her I still miss my Maggie though I can't forget her... today I'm going to continue rolling along in the craft room I figured as soon as I get that almost done or done I will have accomplished something so that's what I'll be doing today also at 5 I will go over to the church and this will be our last crafting together at that church hopefully we can find someplace to go the leaders of the group are working on something... I did make another blog post this morning and one the other day if you haven't checked it out the one I made today it's about the clam screen room the one Margie got and the one I got.... well I better get busy chat later have a good one & B safe...donna...PS.. Carol if you want to come for Christmas again this year I'll be here all alone this time though and anybody else that wants to come...

Good morning! Peaches and I are about to go for a walk. I didn't get laundry done yesterday, so that's a must today, because I will pull out tomorrow, barring any strange weather anomalies. My first stop probably won't be too far. Then again, that's how I like most days on the road.

Birdie has sent me info correcting names on a few birds in my blog posts. So I'll try to get in and correct those today. And I want to do one or two posts about the park and birds. And if you've checked out my blog, one of the posts is history... No birding involved...

Good morning. Been up for awhile so working on my second cup of coffee. Like Carolb, most of the snow was around us but the wind was awful! Still windy today but not as bad as it was the last couple of days. And the sun is shining so that's a good thing! I actually feel like doing something today! The sun does that to me!

Beth and Donna, enjoyed reading your blogs! As I said, the only way I'll be traveling for awhile! My friends are heading for a month in Myrtle Beach after the holidays and are already trying to get me to come down for a few days! Someday maybe I'll do it when I don't have to worry about the house and snow shoveling. It will come! Still working on the purging! And much more to be done!

It is windy here too and already 73. I don't know how cold it got last night but not as cold as at the campground. I know, I'm a wimp. I need to find the rug I put in my kitchen area because my floor gets so cold. Our Christmas campout is December 1 and I don't think it's suppose to be too cold.

I am going to get my hair cut later. So glad I could get in today. Try to get my grocery shopping done for Thursday. One of the ladies at the campout cooked hamburger patties for us that were a mix of beef and pork. I really did like them. I didn't know Walmart had that.

My brother said they had snow in Thunder Bay. I'll be getting a picture of the snow soon. That's the way I like snow, in a picture. lol

I am getting a lot of sleep this week! Even went to bed at a decent hour. Good news is that I got a prednisone dose pack from the urgent care doctor yesterday and already the spots have turned from hard, red, hot spots to softer and pinker with less itching. Still not cured but a lot better, and I was able to sleep well--like 10 hours!! Makes up for the several three-hour sleep nights from last week. And I am hoping the cool nights help the mosquitos slow down.

I am going to be at Myakka for Christmas, so can't join you "grammymaggie." I might end up spending some time with another cousin who lives not too far from Myakka, but I have spend the last couple of Christmas's along, which is OK. I will head to Ohio to see my son and grandkids right after New Years, so will celebrate then.
