Thank you for sharing this Beth. Eve though this is famous, I have not seen this monument in person. Such patriots!! Our flag flies so beautifully, I can't imagine disgruntled people burning it in disgust.

I love to see the flag flying this is just awesome...never have seen the statues in person
but they make one appreciate all that we have

My Daddy was a Marine in WWII and the monument has always meant a lot to me so it's interesting to learn more about it. Thanks
