Good Morning to All. We're on Mountain Time and no one else is up and going? But I've been awake off and on all night. Either I dreamed it or we had some light rain overnight. Woke up first time at 12:05 thinking it was almost morning. Then seems like it was every hour after that. Last time it was 5:30 so to heck with it. I am up. Going to be a long day. Maybe a nap will be in there somewhere.
We drove into Guaymas, the city down the road but cut the trip short when we got a big bolt in the Jeeps rear tire. Found a man to fix it - took 15 minutes to fix it and cost 100 pesos, including tip. Less than $5.

Went to WalMart got some pastries and came home.
Looks like we'll be spending Thanksgiving Day on the road and staying the night in a truck stop. Oh well, one step closer to Mazatlan.
Mexican pastries and special mocha Mexican coffee is ready
Drive safely if traveling, have a good day if not.

Good morning, Donna and all who follow. Glad to see you will be in Silver Springs, Donna. I've been having a good time with Sarah and Wendy, eating out and seeing some sights. Today is my last day here, then I move on to NW GA for Thanksgiving with my dd and family before heading to FL. The main thing on the agenda today is to shop for pies to bring for Thanksgiving. And I may see about doing a load of laundry if I can locate the washer/dryer at this cg. Got my heat going this morning. News shows some places in the NE socked in with heavy snowfall.

Good Morning Everyone !! Cold here too, early morning, dampness in air gets to the bones. Beautiful outside, so will be a pretty day, have no idea what it's to warm up to. Grands are out of school, but they're occupied this morning, so I'm enjoying last of coffee.

Not sure what today will bring, :D No big surprises though I hope  Sorry but I won't be able to meet you all at Silver River, Dr apps, blood work all that stuff that week. Will visit my Sis and DH, see how they're doing after their house full for Thanksgiving. Several there already and each day more, they have a huge family.

Time to get moving here, hope all have a really good day,
Stay safe whatever your plans are,
CArol

Good Morning,

I set the alarm for this morning and had planned to ride to Clearwater to pick up package I forgot. However, decided to wait for a little warmer weather tomorrow. Have plenty to do and cool enough I am going for a walk - saving the lake for last!!

CArol, so sorry you won't be at Silver River! We'll catch up somewhere.

Make it a great day and safe travels!

It dropped down to 43 last night and is supposed to go down to 46 tonight, so I hope that discourages the biting insects. Also, I went to the urgent care clinic and got a prednisone dosepak plus a new anti-itch cream for my bites. I have already taken a couple of the prednisone and hope the itchy misery stops soon. I am getting really tired of trying not to scratch. The doctor was happy that none of them were infected, but said they would probably leave scars anyway.

Got to get back to work. Picked up some turkey thighs for my private Thanksgiving. ANd I might go to the Corkscrew Audabon Sanctuary tomorrow. It is an hour + drive, but one of my favorite places.

The weekend of dog shows brought home no bling for the dogs but was a nice time spent with other owner handlers/friends of several breeds including English Cockers and others. Over all we still had fun because on any given day it can be your day and sometimes it is the other guys day. Several folks brought their young 3 or 4 month old puppies for us to check out, pass around and help socialize. It is such a tough job to do that for friends. :) One friend had just brought her new English Cocker puppy home from traveling to Serbia to pick her up from her breeder. She was beautiful and was definitely an international sensation.

I want to thank those on here for the recent discussions of different Medicare insurance options. Especially JudyJB. My parents both had United Health Care. My father came his employment with P&G for over 38 years and my step mother's through AARP after Dad passed. Being responsible for their health care needs and taking care of them and later their estates, I appreciated that I knew there would be no random bills coming in. I also like the idea of knowing that I can use it anywhere. I have always wanted to actually crunch the number differences in the options and check out the coverage. I doubled checked my Aetna plan through STRS Ohio and though it was a little cheaper and had provider in many many states I would have had to always double check whether I was checking in to an in network plan provider or an out of network provider. I have traveled with enough of you ladies that hesitated to seek medical help because your insurance wasn't valid in that state or didn't covered emergency room visits well. I would like to believe that I will remain healthy for many years but decided this is like car insurance and or house insurance. You hope you never have to use it but there is peace of mind knowing that my travel $$ will not be wiped out by one big hospitalization or major illness. Life has no promises. I have repeatedly knocked on wood all day, being thankful for my over all current health but feel much more prepared to face those road blocks and health detours that come up without warning. Thanks for inspiring me complete my research and not to wait until next year....or the year after....or the year after......
