I'm so sorry Ava. My brother had pain for a long time under his tongue, he finally went to the doctor and she said he might need surgery for a salivary gland stone He Googled natural treatment for saliva stones and tried one of the 'cures' he found. He sucked the juice out of slices from a whole lime then put a hot pack on his face. During the night he woke in quite a bit of pain and looked at his mouth, the stone was partially out and he took tweezers and pulled it the rest of the way. They must hurt really bad as he had only been to a doctor a few times in his life. My other brother had never been since early twenties until he had a seizure from a brain tumor at age 70 and woke up in the hospital. Nurses kept coming in an asking if it was true he had never been to a doctor. Unfortunately he's had to go many times since that experience.

The stone passed. It was weird, my mouth filled up with
spit, I know, gross! The swelling is still going down but
almost normal now. I expect to go back to work tomorrow.

That's wonderful news - for a not so wonderful event.

So glad that it passed and you didn't have surgery. Did you see the stone? I watched a few videos about them and some of them were huge. :o
My mind works like lightning...one brilliant flash and it's gone.
