Foggy Tuesday

Hopefully the gig will lift soon. The sun should be out. I have places to go and things to see!

  the 'gig', Beth? I'm thinking you meant fog! Thanks for the brain teaser!

Cloudy here again - sprinkled yesterday so I am hesitant to run to WalMart even if it isn't far. SS if fairly free of rain spots right now. :)

Many things crossed off the list yesterday and one this morning so on a roll. Hope CArol is having a safe and nice drive.

Make it a great day!

Good morning gals! (almost noon... )

Off to work shortly here.

Went yesterday for my massage. The gal spent over a half hour on my neck, shoulders and arms. She really did a lot of deep tissue work and said I an a knotted up mess! She said my forearm issue is definitely related to my shoulder issue. It was painful at times but I already feel better today and I am sure tomorrow will be even better. I will go back to her in 2 weeks to keep working out the knots and nerve issues.

Last night my roommate said she saw a little white maltese running around in the neighborhood near our house. She asked me to help her catch it. So I did...sweet little dog but no collar/tags. We brought her home and then she took her to the emergency vet to check for a microchip. No luck. She came back and gave her a bath. I checked on line for missing dog ads but found nothing. Later I was playing on my lap top in my room when I heard a car go by (we are on the end of a cul de sac) and when I looked out I saw someone with a flashlight shining out from the car. I grabbed my car keys and went out to my Jeep to track them down. Found them about 4 blocks away and stopped to ask if they were looking for a dog. They said, yes a little white maltese. Bingo! They followed me back to the house and got their dog. Third successful dog rescue in 3 weeks!

Have a good day and hope those on the road stay safe!!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

It is now 73 degrees in Florida, which for me is perfect. I admit it is a bit windy, but I am getting a chuckle at all the people in long sleeves and jackets walking around!! Saw a lady a couple of days ago when it was 79 in Wal-Mart wearing pink snowboots and long pants!

In process of doing three loads of laundry. Also changed my bed this morning, and tried to pick up a bit. Slept in because I was up very late last night with software problems at the college. They updated something we use to check plagiarism and never bothered to tell faculty of students of the upgrade or how to work it, so I must have had 40 emails to answer!!

I love that story Barbie. I can't even count how many times I've found lost animals and it was always so stressful trying to find the owners. Many times I was successful, a few not. When I did find the owners I always got on my "soap box" about having tags AND a microchip. You and your roommate did a good thing! 8-)

Yes, they got a lecture from my roommate about getting a collar and tag and getting the dog microchipped too. She is very adamant about that.

I'm sitting here laughing. First my phone had fun with fog... glad you could figure it out, Anita. Then CArol decided against a clothing optional park and Evie thinks she should try something new. What fun.

Barbie, I'm so glad you so quickly found the dogs owners. And thank you and your roommate for keeping all three dogs safe.
