Monday Morning.

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Monday Morning.

Wow Beth, not the greatest way to get woke up, but at least it did, even if it was a false alarm. Hope last night was peaceful. With my hearing I wouldn't hear one if it went off a night, but the dogs would.

CArol, hope you got out and away from your house. No fun in all that smoke. I know what that's like. Also hope your house isn't in jeparody.

Looks like a nice day here today and wind finally calming down after 3 days of blowing. Molly has an appt., with the eye vet to check her eyes and am hoping we can now stop the drops. Then I''m going to blow what leaves are left around the house etc., and be done with it for this year. Looks like rain/snow or Lake Effect snow showers by weekend. Got the bedroom panted but want to do a second coat. Will wait till company comes and goes. That way no paint smell, not that there is much anyway. Will put my guest bed back up in there for now.

So that's about it at the 45th. That big bright "super" moon lit it up like Day around here last night. Sure is bright.

Good morning
It was a good weekend, watched some great movies on DVD
and just relaxed. Have to get some appointments made, the
stress of retirement really has my psoriasis flared up.
Three early releases this week will make my schedule weird
but always nice to get home early.
Am looking forward to Q in January,
Y'all have a great day, be safe.

Good Morning Everyone !! Half way down 75 at a nice PA cg. I mean really nice and just off the interstate but a business between here and the hwy so no noise. Twin Oaks in Elko, wee south of Perry, Ga. Couple from Michigan work camping, so you know I had a nice chat and she showed me the whole place. Pool, sauna, nicest louge area I have ever seen anywhere and ive been around , No smoke here, but the traffic delays before I got on 75 and then after, I was glad to make it here just before dark. Contruction area everywhere and where there wasn't should be  Thinking of staying off the interstate and head east from here, from here to the Fl border is the most boring drive and I've done it so many times, thinking NOT this morning. Only on it at all because other roads were closed or too smokey.

Have some things to put away, just stuck them in and placed where they would travel ok, they did :) and now to put them where they belong before heading out. Get organized !!

You'all have a nice day, I'm hoping to, "on the road again " :D

Good Morning from Clermont (near Orlando), FL,

Beth, I had to replace my CO2 detector as well - ordered from Amazon and did it myself. Sue, sounds like winter is upon you! CArol, glad you were able to get to a good stop last night! Alice, another Monday out of the count!

Remembered last night that I had a small package sent to my last stop - yep, it's there. Will take back roads for a 2 hour ride to get it one day. Maybe a stop at the beautiful beach over there. I will be here for 3 weeks. Part of my stay is to see holiday decor at Sea World, Universal and adding Bok Tower. SeaWorld night decor is Dec 2, Macy balloons at Universal Dec 3! Thought they would start sooner but will get a big dose all at once!

Make it a great day and safe travels!!

Good morning
So glad you made your escape and found a great place to stop, Carol. Was worried about you.
We've been under an air quality alert since Friday night due to the smoke, mainly from fires in GA, NC, & TN. Winds should shift again by tonight and air improve tomorrow. Most of the AL fires are under control now.
Pretty much stayed inside all weekend. I did make it over to dog show briefly (about 40 minute drive) Friday afternoon to see Tina and her pups strut their stuff. Had planned to go back but just felt too bad to make the drive.
Acupuncture treatment and allergy shots this morning. Not sure if anything else will get done.
Looks like we will stay in the 70s until the weekend, then another big cold front moves in for the weekend. So far we have not had a frost but could get one this time.
Wishing all a good week.

Good morning
Had a good/bad weekend here; good because DH and I got to go out to dinner with my Camping Club buddies, it's always a blast to visit with them; bad because Angel had to go into her winter storage home :( . I always hate doing that. At least this year we knew just how to put on the cover and tarp, last year was a bit tricky first time trying to figure it all out. For those of you who will tell me NOT to cover AND tarp, hear this: Angel sits in a quonset building which we currently use for bodywork and painting. We cover AND tarp her in order to keep all that junk off her. If you've ever had occasion to try to get that stuff off your vehicle (trust me you do NOT want to have to do this), it's a real mess. Thus the cover and tarp both.
Due to their unwillingness to work with my business accounts, I've recently changed to another bank. Previous bank insisted on continuing to give me a hard time about accepting 2 party checks for deposit even though I had already made arrangements with their operations department. A notation SHOULD have been in my account but apparently someone dropped the ball and didn't put it there. Apparently I was the only autobody repairer in IL to deal with this bank. They kept insisting I bring in the customers so they could see them endorse the check. We will see how easy this new bank is to deal with. So far, so good.
Any day spent in the company of my animals is a good day.

Sue, even without my hearing aids, it not only woke me, but scared me. So you might not hear it, but might. Loud!

I want to have a pity party but am not deserving. The clouds that were to disperse last night still haven't. Misty and light rain still earlier. And I'm grumpy lol. But I'm no where near any fires and feel terrible for those of you dealing with those. That's much worse.

I'm short one worker for this coming summer, so if anyone is interested or knows anyone who might be, let me know. The sooner I fill this, the sooner I can relax till spring.

CArol, I'm glad you got out of the smoke!

Kathy, that's why we do business with a local bank. My son gets a small check from Prudential quarterly and instead of telling me he wasn't cashing them he was just sticking them in his car. He doesn't have a checking account so he had trouble cashing them. I saw a letter from Prudential wanting to know where these checks were. Our bank let me deposit 2 checks that were over a year old. They said if Prudential wouldn't take them they would have to debit our account. It was only about $50 and depositing them was easier than trying to get them replaced. I very seriously doubt any other bank would have done that for me.

I put a pork loin roast in the slow cooker this morning. I don't think I have ever cooked a pork loin. Sam's had them on sale so decided to try one. It was so big I cut it in thirds. If I mess this one up I have 2 more chances.

I need to go see about taking out the money I have to from my retirement account. I keep putting it off and I have to do it before the end of the year. I might get a golf cart. Harold's 4 wheeler is getting some age and is in the shop. He could use my golf cart some and I would have something to haul all my fishing stuff to the pond.

Beth, I hope your rain makes it up to us.

Martha, the bank that wouldn't deal with me was a local bank. I'd been with them for at least 25 yrs. and been a business customer for the past 6.
