Good morning!
Note much new out here.
Beth, what a rude awakening - glad it wasn't for real.
Barbie, I can only imagine how tough those styles are on your arms. I watched as my daughters hair was done for her wedding. Her hair is fairly long & she wanted gentle curls at the bottom. The stylist really got a work-out. I was fascinated by her movements to make it happen. It was like a beautiful dance. Hope you don't get too many more of those. A massage will feel great! Oh & I had the same problem with my van's windows. Thankfully I have a handy son in KS who helped me fashion a fix for them using parts from the hardware store. They eventually may need a better fix but at least they are working for now.
Sounds like the smoke is really bad - hope everyone suffering from its effects find relief - or can get away for a bit.
Donna, that's great $$ for the charity. Glad you're taking a little break.
Lis, I love COA's - looks like you found a great one to stay at for a while.
Someone backed their hitch into the bumper of my travelin' van in the apartment parking lot a couple of nights ago. Of course, they didnt' leave a note or anything, just did it & left.
I'm just hoping the structure of the bumper itself is still strong enough for the bolts to keep it on. Of course the area around the bolts were damaged a bit so I'm going to just fashion a do-it-yourself fix for now with some super strong tape to keep it secure.
Going to meet someone from KS later today out at one of the beaches. He just said 'I'll meet you there' - shows how naive we are in the midwest. He has no idea how busy the more popular beaches are out here & what a pain parking can be. I hope I can convince him to let me pick him up.
Other than that - just the status quo - working & working & working.
Take care & stay safe out there.
