Wednesday Afternoon

I realize everyone is reeling from the election... on both sides. That said, let's not forget each other here. The sun came up and we're all still here. Be kind to each other.

Today my rig got washed and waxed for a very good price and I've done my laundry. Should go to town and do grocery shopping, but think I'll save that for tomorrow. Maybe I'll get back on my computer later and work more on catching up my blog.

Sadly, I tapped a car in a parking lot the other day, breaking the guys
tail light. Boss had to come out but no one ever showed up to the
car so he left a note and sent me on my way. It was totally my fault
and I tried really hard to convince him I deserved 3 days suspension
but he wasn't buying it. Lol. One more day of the week and I'm off to
have some fun in the mountains near Showlow. It will be cold to
my standard but it will be fun.
Y'all enjoy what's left of the day, be kind and remember what America
is all about as Veterans day approaches.

Good afternoon Berh and everyone ... went over to the church this morning and finish setting up for the craft show we did all the baked goods today... they started the barbecue / chili supper so things are moving right along there I thoroughly enjoyed doing that this year I haven't been able to enjoy it in the last few years... actually it was not able to do as much and help as much as I have been this year so I will be working there Friday and Saturday and then it will be over and we don't know what's going to happen we might be able to join a church in Palm Bay we'll see what's up with that it won't be as big or as good as it has been but it's something for us to socialize be together.... I signed up for the GTG at Hardee lakes... I'm really getting excited about my camping that I've signed up for it's making me work harder to get this stuff done so that I can do more I have decided that I'm not going to rush around like a maniac anymore to try to get things done for someone else I'm going to go at my own pace and get it done so that I won't be stressed and out of sorts and since I made that decision I have done so much better I actually feel happy and that made me be able to sign up for the camping GTG well that's my story for right now I am bummed out about the election also but we have to make the best of it so have a good one everybody...donna

It certainly isn't morning but having a chance to read on IPad, time is running out on it and laptop has went into hibernate, not sure how or why and cant get it out of it,so my communicating skills or items for it are going capoot around here. Time to be leaving

I wanted to tell you Donna that I am so glad you have decided to have a life along with the huge job you've been left with that it's benefits are for more then yourself. It's a huge job and it's going to take some time and in the meantime I am sooooo glad you are going to live YOUR life and enjoy yourself as you should. Have to remember we're not promised tomorrow and we need to enjoy our time, work is always there and will be there forever, fun times are not. I've been there, done that and missed out, so I especially am Soo happy you're smarter then I was. Enjoy lady you deserve it !!!!

It's been a good productive day here, many things done and I'm pleased with what I've gotten done. Pays to not have computers, I must waste a lot of time on them, been awhile since my day has been long enough to really do anything or such has been my thoughts

Well onto Christmas shows on Hallmark channel, something I miss when traveling.

Feeling sad today...

Decided to sit out by the pool but it was too hot, went back inside but my roommate and her husband were watching a violent movie, so I went shopping. Just got some things I needed at Walmart and then got some lunch.

I live like 3 blocks from work, so yesterday I was heading to work when the traffic stopped near the intersection. Turns out there was a bad accident. I decided to turn into a shopping mall and cut thru to get to work. But everyone else did that too so I was stuck in the parking lot. I was running late and my new manager was working so I decided to just park my car and walk the rest of the way. I crossed the street between the cars backed up on the street and got yelled at by some guy about J-walking! Like I was gonna go up the intersection and try to cross in the middle of the accident scene! Luckily, I got in to the shop right on time but winded!

My new manager seems very nice. I noticed I was only scheduled next week for 3 days again. I asked her about it and she said the old manager told her I only wanted to work 3 days a week. I said no, I need to get at least 30 hours per week, so she said she will change that. She is also doing the schedules a week or two ahead of time instead of just a few days, so that makes it easier to plan ahead. I can see why they replaced the other manager.

I hope it cools off here again...90's are just too warm this time of year! Ava, wish I could go with you up to the mountains!

Donna, if other family members don't want to help you then do things at your own speed. I don't know if this would apply to your Dad's estate but the lawyer handling my mother-in-law's estate didn't file a tax return on time and we got a big penalty. Of course the lawyer didn't pay it or deduct it from his fee. He had even written himself into our wills. It may come as a surprise to him someday but he has been disinherited. I missed why you all are having to move the Craft Show.

I had a dentist appointment this morning and Harold had a doctor's appointment. He was suppose to go with me but when I got out of the bathroom after getting dressed he was gone. Of course his cell phone was on the kitchen cabinet. I left him a note on the storm door hoping he would see it and he did. He went to his appointment an hour early. It's getting worse and worse. Monday he was suppose to go do fasting blood work. He headed to town and decided to go get a license for a trailer. The DMV wasn't open so he has breakfast and waits for them to open. Then he goes to do his blood work. I have to call his doctor tomorrow to see if we even need to keep his appointment Friday.

I don't like the new time and it getting dark earlier. I am use to watching the news and then feeding. If I do that I need to feed with a flash light.
