Recommended restaurants in Tucson

A high school classmate has asked for good eating places in the Tucson area. I haven't been there in 16 years so no help. Anyone? I did give him pointers on places to visit with the Desert Museum at the top of the list!

I wish I was good at remembering names, but I do like El Charro... it's the oldest Mexican restaurant in Tucson, over 90 years I think.

Gentle Bens (?) ... brew pub with good burgers. Their veggie burger was great.

This winter I want to try their Ethiopian restaurants.

Oh Boy, I love Ethiopian food! Whenever I think of their food, I think of the book Cutting for Stone. Great! lyn

El Corral on River Road is good. Some like Pinnacle Petes, but my last trip wasn't good. They have the standard chains like Ruby Tuesday, Olive Garden, Texas Roadhouse, not sure about Logan's. "I Like" is a restaurant on Wilmot some friends ate at and liked. Good luck.

El Corral is very good. Steaks are good. Lots of old movie memorabilia makes for good conversation.
