Things seem to be still progressing forward, they are now talking about letting Deb come home, but she will have a home nurse now to come hook up antibiotics to her twice a day. Apparently they changed the antibiotic again and this seems to have started a real forward progress. They came in to do a biopsy and the doctor that came in said this doesn't need to be done, this is on the mend.

Thank you all for your prayers. I know prayers do wonders and this is just another example of that. I cannot tell you the relief I feel seeing this begin to turn around and head in a good direction. Again thank you for your love, concern and prayers.

Deb is home!!!! They have her on two antibiotics, one is on for 22 hours a day and the other is an hour duration twice a day. She is weak as a kitten, but other than that the leg looks much improved over what it was. She will have a nurse starting tomorrow and they will continue to monitor her blood as she continues with the antibiotics. Right now she is going to stay here at my house, a bit easier for her to see the nurses and such here.

Again thank you all for your prayers and concern, you have no idea how much it means to me.

Thanks again for the update, Nan, and lucky Deb to have you close by! I have a feeling the healing will progress slowly and surely now that she is home and surrounded by loving family. Sigh! A good start to my day to hear this good news!
