Friday mid October already!

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Sarah, I got hit on the bridge of my nose with a base ball in junior high school. It almost completely closed one side of my nose. The older I got the more trouble I had with sinus infections. There was no way my dad was going to pay for an operation to fix it. I really had a hard time in college. Almost every time I would get a cold it would turn into a sinus infection and I would almost get a black eye. After I got married, went to work and finally had good health insurance I got it operated on. I think it was called resectioned or something like that. After that I seldom ever had a sinus problem. One of the best things I ever did. Hope they can find a way to help you with your problems.

My brother had constant sinus infections and they discovered little polyps in his nose, so they went in and removed them and he hasn't had any problems since. He said his allergies are much better now too.
So another possibility...
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Still haven't decided when to head south for good. I am not a good planner. I would get a lot more done if my left brain would kick back in more often. I made it work very hard at work for many years even when it didn't want to and now I sense it giving paybacks.

The following poem was framed next to the door of my dorm room in college. My left brain really had to work hard even back then to rein my wandering spirit in..... :)

"I Meant to Do My Work Today"
by Richard Le Gallienne

I meant to do my work today
But a brown bird sang in the apple tree
And a butterfly flitted across the field,
And all the leaves were calling to me.

And the wind went sighing over the land,
Tossing the grasses to and fro,
And a rainbow held out its shining hand -
So what could I do by laugh and go?

Lovely poem Tina. The link below is for you and any others who feel the need to balance your brain :) The brain balancing parts starts at 4:50 but the beginning exercises are good for reducing stress and anxiety. http://www.puppyfind.com/l/?acct_id=705 ... qegsrfmc31

Here is another called the 4-7-8 I like by Dr Weil. This is more for anxiety and stress http://www.drweil.com/health-wellness/b ... breathing/

BJ....I think the main part is that I mostly choose to follow the right brain. :) If necessary I know that I have the ability to switch back and forth but with retirement, the need is not as pressing anymore. I don't always have to be doing something because the huge list "must" be completed. Groom dogs or dust....hum let me think..Dogs win out over dust every time.
