Thanks, everyone, for the lovely birthday wishes.

My day started began with a parent who thought he could bully me into doing what he wanted. Didn't happen, thanks the newfound freedom I'm feeling with only 142 more service days left. But the day improved nicely after that. I was sung to by a couple of groups of middle schoolers, received a hand-made card from a bunch of them, and was hugged many times by still more. Can't ask for more affirmation than that!

Celebrating will continue all weekend, with a visit to Disneyland, the big RV Show, and the theater on Sunday. And I don't have to go to school tomorrow! :D
