Welcome, Pam. I am tempted to head to Alaska, but there are so many things I have not seen in the lower 48 that I will not be ready for that for a couple more years.

Welcome to the forum. What Beth said. Enjoy the drive up and back as well. Canada is beautiful in its own right and there are many boondocking spots just begging for you to slow down and linger awhile in both Canada and Alaska.

Welcome to the forum...it was always a dream of my husband's to go to Alaska one of my regrets that we didn't do it
before he passed away...so go and enjoy it don't do a exact time we have a phrase here called jello plans...it works for us when
someone hits a spot and they plan 1 day and a week later they are still there it's called jello plans...so what is Kiki ...my daughters Kiki is
a really pretty long hair cat...one of those they usually have no tail...Kiki still has hers...

Hi Pam and welcome! I'm kind of new on here myself, but have enjoyed reading all the posts and sharing a few of my own adventures. I am in the middle of a three-month trip to Colorado and Utah, and already thinking about my next adventure! I went to Alaska 30 years ago tent camping took three months to do it from Virginia, needed every day of that and still didn't see everything I wanted to. I definitely want to go back but next year isn't possible.
