What are your winter plans?

Always fun to see where everyone will be!

SS Toy Run in Clearwater, FL Nov. 12. November 13, I have 3 weeks at Thousand Trails near Orlando. Then 2 weeks at State Parks that Liz posted about. Probably start toward Texas after that. I have promised myself I will sit tight and work on quilt projects and genealogy this winter.

On edit: After reading JudyJB's post, I made some changes in my plans to include Ortona South and Midway over the Christmas/New Year's holidays.

I'll see you in Florida in December! I'll be there until the weather starts to warm up, usually mid-March. Then traveling in the East next year.

Probably heading to FL this winter for awhile before coming back to Ohio mid Feb to earn some more traveling money for a month or two.

I am having so much fun at dog classes with Drew that I'm thinking of getting the club's annual pass and playing with dogs all winter. :D If I do that, I'll spend a few weeks in FL at G's, and probably be in Massachusetts for Patriot's Day in April.

So much still up in the air for me. I wanted to go with Carol and The Driver to Mexico this winter, but while it's still a slim possibility, it keeps getting slimmer. Right now I'm having some problems mainly related to the propane - furnace not working right now, for example - that have to get fixed before I finalize anything. I want to head to Pat's from here, then was hopefully going to go to WI for a few days to visit my sister. Both of those are on very iffy status - if the furnace gets fixed and the weather is doable, they'll go back in my plans. From there - furnace or not, I'll head south. Texas probably for about a month - gives me time to get my broken tooth fixed. I'll be staying way south. Then, if no Mexico, I'll meander in southern New Mexico for awhile, then head to Arizona. I do not plan to work this winter - so lots of inexpensive staying and boondocking are in my future. Hopefully I'll get to Q during the show and be able to see lots of friends there.

I'll be coming back to SD mid-April.

Some of our friends are working their way West to Arizona and I can't go. :( The Louisiana Bells are camping at Toledo Bend Lake October 20th. I should be able to make that. Their Christmas Party campout is the first of December and I am signed up for that. There is some serious decorating that goes on for the Christmas campout but not by me. I signed up for the Florida GTG at Hillsborough River the end of February. I sure hope I can make that GTG.

There is campout in Ruston, La in November but I don't think I want to drive to North Louisiana. If that's the only thing I can go to I might have to go.

Donna, you are never "homeless" when you have an RV. :D

I will be in Phoenix this winter and beyond, but plan to go to Q in January for at least a few days. Otherwise, just exploring Arizona on my days off or relaxing by the pool! Would like to take a 3 day trip over to San Diego if I can this winter too. I need my ocean fix!

I am planning on heading south also this winter. I really want to go to Quartzsite and Yuma and then not sure where to go. So other than that my plans are total jello. Looking forward to hanging with the Q gang.
