Advanturing in Utah - Canyonlands NP & Goblin Valley

Westward bound from Moab (I'll be back to Arches later next month) I spent a few days exploring Canyonlands NP Island in the Sky.

From the grandeur and scale of Canyonlands, it was off to Goblin Valley and a more "cosy" environment...and a long, luxuriating shower!

Goblin Valley is also new to me.

I love seeing the differences we all find. Yes, please keep sharing!

Goblin Valley is really cool! Need to add that to my bucket list!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

having lived in Utah for many years and going to the state fair and seeing the exhibits of the county's have wanted to for
many years go to Goblin Valley and have I NO but still want to... there is an area of the state that you might enjoy.
it's the 4 corners ...can see several states..but close to there is a pioneer settlement and I am struggling with remembering
the names may have to look it up and get back with you but the story of the pioneers getting there is mind boggling.
enjoy your stay in the state and beautiful time of the year...before it closes for the winter ought to check out the North rim
of the Grand Canyon as well
sheila

the area is hole in the rock and the town is Bluff remembered I have a book fiction book on it

Until it was mentions here, I never thought of the fact that visiting a state fair and looking for county exhibits would be a great place to figure out what you wanted to see in a state! And that is from me who always visits our county exhibits at our state fair! :D

Linda, thanks! I use a Nikon Coolpix P500. Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. I still haven't figured out all the features it has.
