Thursday, just saying...

Gmorning all :)

Ok, if I poof this one, I have plenty of time to start again  Up very early & looking forward to a relaxing day--I think  May even pack up HarBor & take an overnight trip.

Well, I've been thinking...not sure if the cake lady has her info, but those of us at KS gtg will remember that we celebrated Lyn's bday there too! I especially remember it because it's a couple days after mine & she's just a "few" years older than me ;) So happy belated bday to you Lyn! Wishing you many more years of happy camping :D

Yes, several of our forum family on the move as seasons change. Barbie, so happy you have your brothers' blessings for your move! Donna, can't be there to offer "hands on" help, but will continue to keep good thoughts for you. Anita! Great article & congrats on the rewards--extra cash is always fun to get :D

Y'all have a great day 8-)

Good Morning!

Wow, is it wet here and more rain to come! Glad I made the trip to WalMart for groceries yesterday. Got a few sprinkles on the way home and then got wet when I got here - worker asking questions! I am slowly making progress with things. Enjoying not having to rush around in the morning.

Carolb, Lyn's birthday crossed my mind - didn't stick tho. Happy belated birthday, Lyn!! Yes, not all of us pass our info along to the Cake Lady! :D

Barbie, almost time! Hope you have great weather for your drive to AZ. Martha, having to pack a suitcase is not easy for me - too used to having everything with me! BJ, the 'does your husband let you drive' has come up quite often! That and 'you aren't what I expected'.

Time for a second cup. Make it a great day and stay safe!

Good morning
Little sprinkles this morning here too, just enough to settle the dust.
I have no plans this weekend so guess I am forced to do house chores.
I do however have an eye exam scheduled for Monday. One of the
girls at work will drive me because thus exam includes the dialation
of the eyes. It takes a long time for my eyes to clear from that stuff.
I always hate it.
Nothing else on my agenda, fall break coming up and I'm thinking of
painting the ceiling, thinking is as far as its gone. Lol
Y'all have a great day, be safe.

Good morning gals!

Got a lot more done yesterday. Hoping to have my apartment pretty much cleaned out by the end of the day today so I can start cleaning. I decided to cancel the cleaning lady and just do it myself and save some money. Not that much to do around here as I always keep it clean anyways.

Tomorrow will be finishing up anything left over and doing the last of planning my trip out there. Then finish loading up on Saturday morning and head out.

Am going to visit a cousin this afternoon for a bit. I got an invite to go the the Ryder Cup Golf Tournament just a few miles from me, for free today, but just can't fit it in. Sure would have loved to go tho!

The reason I am not leaving tomorrow is I have a ticket to see John Edward, the famous psychic medium from New York on Friday night. I bought the ticket months ago and have really wanted to see him for a long time. It is a gallery reading and I hope I get to hear from someone on the Other Side! Should be a very interesting evening! He is the best there is!

Happy birthday Lyn!! Hope you all have a great day! :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Good morning, all! ANita, the two I get that drive me crazy, and these are almost entirely from women are "All by YOURSELF?" and "You are SO brave!"

The other day, some man drove by as I was emptying my tanks, and yelled out the window, "How did you get that job?" The assumption of course was why was my husband not doing that job. Anyway, some people need to adjust their expectations, and it isn't us.

Nice morning doing laundry at Old Federal at Lake Lanier with a fantastic view on both sides of the peninsula I am on. Got some new towels yesterday in honor of my upcoming company. Also have my sheets to wash and a week's worth of clothing. Then I have to vacuum and lay my big rug out of the picnic table so I can wash it and let it dry in the sun. Also, need to vacuum. Whew! But got to get rid of the accumulated dust and make this place company-ready! (My friend has not only never camped, but lives in the Bronx and works in Manhattan, so she is REALLY a city girl! She does not even drive a car.)

Good Morning, Happy belated Birthday wishes to Lyn; Hope the year ahead has lots of great adventures.

Here is my story about an experience I had with a psychic. One time a woman came to our Metaphysical Hypnosis to talk about reincarnation. In the middle of her talk she stopped and said I have someone from the 'other side' wanting to give a message to someone here tonight. I have to admit in my mind I was like, yeah right, but I had heard some pretty amazing stories about her life. I looked around the room when she asked if anyone knew someone who had crossed named Clyde. She was looking at me when I suddenly remembered I had a dear friend whose name was Clyde but I had called him CP. I slowly raised my had and she told me he wanted me to know he was fine and also said there was a little girl with him but she wasn't sure who she was. She then asked if he had died of a heart attack, and I said yes. I later asked his brother who I was also friends with if Clyde had a daughter and he said he and his wife had a child who died but he wasn't sure if it was a girl. I still have no idea how this happened and there was no way she would have know I had a connection to him. For awhile I would play on a Quija board and it would give me messages from CP to tell his brother to fear nothing about death. I threw it away but I did talk to his brother again about a year later and he said at that time he had been seriously ill.
So that's my story. Hope you enjoy the evening Barbie.

Toke a long walk around the campground and down the road to one of the other campground here in the park. Back to the campground to download the pictures on the camera and do some picture sorting and cropping. It is a nice job on a cloudy cool day while we wait for Kathy K to arrive. Waiting to take the drive down to wander the streets of Nashville for later. Those adventures are usually more fun with company. :)

Judy, be sure and "save" all the funny things she says to you. Wish I could be a fly on the wall. Lyn

It actually got down to 66 last night. The high is suppose to be 80 but my thermometer says it's 95. It always seems to be hotter here than they predict. There is another darn tropical storm out there. I sure hope it turns like they say it's suppose to. If it gets in the Gulf I won't be able to leave next week.

My friend that I went to the last RV show with is not a good candidate for camping. Her husband wanted more seating in the living room to watch football and she wanted the biggest bathroom and shower. I don't think she would be happy after her first shower and ran out of hot water. lol

Barbie, I would like to send my son up there to help you clean. His computer work must have slacked off and he is cleaning house. The problem is he throws my stuff away. While I was gone he took my old TV and a small TV I wanted to keep to be recycled. There was nothing wrong with my TV except it wasn't HD which I didn't care about. He had to get a mount to attach the new TV to the table so the cats wouldn't knock it over. Then he had to order a new HD DirectTv receiver because the color was off.

My trip with the suitcase was ok. The only thing I forgot was some deodorant. Since there is a CVS or Walgreens on every corner that wasn't a problem.

Just got back from getting 4 new tires for the back half of my rig. OUCH!!! Got two for the front last year. However, while it's a big expense, I'm happy to have good, new tires for the trip to the Grand Canyon and the mule trip in a month. I noticed a significantly smoother ride as I drove away. I really like the service at Les Schwab. Hopefully I won't need to visit them again for awhile.

Sandi, what brand do you like on your Sprinter. I'm ready to get new here as poor wheeled beast has just been sitting waiting for me to get my round to it together. I'm thinking Michelin again.
