Cool, damp Tuesda

Morning,

Went shopping, so have eggs, bacon, sausage, toast etc., for breakfast here. Being it's a 50 degree, damp morning, good one for hot breakfast. Scattered showers and high in upper 50's for today. Going to be good day to transplant some small trees and work on finishing organizing garage. See some of you are still having hot weather. Wish I could send some cooler weather your way. Glad This wasn't the week I was up north with Eileen, Dave and Rosemary or we probably would have packed up and headed home.

Rambling on about nothing here, so gonna wish you all a nice day and get moving here. :)

Good morning ladies
Just checking in, only 10 more work Mondays, hahaha, it sounds good to say it that way.
Had a great Saturday last weekend, took a drive up into the forest with my old friend
Bill. The place we were actually headed for a picnic was on fire. It was pretty wild, never
saw a forest fire up close, it was all ground cover, not the trees but lots of smoke. So we
went farther up and found a good trail to 4 wheel into. Just hung out with the squirrels
and deer for the afternoon. Also saw some wild horses. The squirrels up there reminded
me of the Kaibab squirrels. Kaibab squirrels have the snow white tails, but these had
silver tails. Very pretty!
We did check out the park I'm interested in placing the fifth wheel in up in Payson. Nice
and cheaper than where I'm at. Got the new lease for next year and as I expected, rent
over $400 now. Also think I could buy a lot and make payments for half that. Lots to
think about.
Ok, time to get busy and do my job. Y'all have a great day and be safe. See ya soon Barbie.

Good Morning from Gloucester, Virginia where I will now be for 3 weeks!

Now back to the real world! Only remaining piece of the journey is a newspaper article that I was interviewed for Saturday. Who knew that my trip would turn into such an event! Along the way I won a $410 raffle, was given a ticket to the blues festival, a $50 gas card, a $100 gift certificate for SS items, won a door prize of moonshine. Met some of the greatest people and just had an all around great time. I've never been hugged by so many strangers in my life! :D

I've tried to keep up on here. Glad to see Carolb post on her birthday thread - was wondering where she was! And now she snuck in ahead of me! CArol, I hope all the problems get taken care of so you can relax a bit - anything I could help with if I came that way?? Alice, I like the 10 Mondays countdown! I have never been to Payson but have heard great things. Some of you have been out camping - good for you as I guess the season will be winding down. Donna, one day at a time and you'll have all this behind you.

Everyone make it a great day and be safe!

Nothing much interesting to say, so I won't say much. Am at Cumberland Gap National Park and will take my cousin out to lunch today and also stop back at the visitor center to buy a book about Rebecca Boone. Tried to find it online for my Kindle, but only available in paperback. I try to stick to electronic books only now because I don't want to haul paper books around with me. Plus, I seem to find more time to read my Kindle than a real book.

Sunny and warm here, but not hot today, so I am off in a few minutes.

Good morning! Nice, cool, sunny day again here. Perfect for moving stuff out to the garage and getting all that organized. Having my V8 Energy drink for breakfast! :D

My trailer is done but I asked my friend to get a lock for the hitch so will pick the trailer up later on. He did a really nice job on it! All brand new wiring, new lights, he says it lights up like a Christmas tree! (little yellow lights around sides and back). New lock on the back and he sprayed the rusty wheels with Rustoleum spray so they look much better now. Good to go!

Got a ton of running around done yesterday with stops at the post office, bank, food shelf, church to drop off rummage sale stuff, Petco, Target, etc. Got my bills paid already for October and now just to finish packing, loading and head out at the end of the week!

Have a good one and see you soon Liz and Ava!

It's not cool here yet. I keep hearing rumors of a cool front but it hasn't shown up yet. The weather channel says our high will be 87 and it's 94.

Not much going on here. I need to unpack my suit case and put it in the back of the closet. I might need it again in 5 years. I like traveling in my camper and on my own time. I have a trip with one of my women groups in 2 weeks. I hope I can get in some camping before it gets cold.

Annie has sure been sticking close to me since I got home. Posse is still shut up because of her tooth. She still has 4 more days of jail time. I wasn't sure about leaving her for the weekend but they made it.
