Good Morning Donna and Everyone !! Back home and now back to reality  :o Had a great week end, at a really nice COE park. First night not much sleep though, dog next to me was left outside all night by himself and he woke me off and on all night. First time I have ever reported someone and didn't feel to good about it but they just were not thinking people. I was dragging all day Friday.

We're supposed to finally have rain in this area and I think we are down quite a bit. My grass needs cutting but with rain in afternoon young girl across the road won't be able to mow. Making another call today in hopes of finding a repair person, has to be one here somewhere.

No news really from this here, a lot of work but soooo much already done, coming along nicely if I could just find someone to fix this bathroom floor then I would call a realtor and sell this place as is for whatever just to get rid of it.

My Sis ended back up in hospital, Saturday morning. When I talked to her yesterday, they weren't sure what her problem was but ambulance had to be called and hospital immediately admitted her. Its not good for her or her hubby right now. They have 7 children and so far, all are taking their turns staying with their folks which is so nice. I can't right at this time go down, but hoping to soon and ready for fast trip if I have to. Praying a lot here.

Must get moving morning is moving on. Donna, you have a job a head of you, but take those time outs when you have them planned, don't cancel any of them, they will help you continue on until that job is done. Hope you all are well, some planning winter trips, Judy already on her way to Fl. don't hurry to fast Judy, its still hot down there :D

Have a great day all, Stay safe,
CArol

Good Morning Donna and all,

Donna, I've been so busy and out of town, with no WiFi, and haven't had a chance to express my sympathies to you on the loss of your dad. I know you will miss him as I do mine, but the memories will always be there. I think the others are right about hiring someone else to handle the estate stuff and am glad to see you are going to do that. Just concentrate on yours and decide what you really want or need to keep. You have had a long stressful time, so now it's time to do for yourself.

I'm home now from a wonderful 4 days in the Upper Peninsula with Eileen (Beazle) and her DH. We camped at Indian Lake State Park near Manistique. Took them to some of the sites in the area and we enjoyed the campground and campfires. They are a wonderful and fun couple. And their new MH is beautiful. So comfy and cozy. Has twin beds too :). Some of you will be jealous on that I know  We also got to meet Rosemary (GypsyRose) who was also in the U.P. And came to join us for one night on her return to WI. Another wonderful lady. So glad we finally got to meet. Enjoyed a home cooked dinner by Eileen and a nice campfire by the lake later. Will be posting pics from all this soon as I get them all together and in my computer. And Eileen will, after she figures out, how to do it. Right now they are on final day toward home.

Today is catch up day for me. Gotta do a little shopping, banking etc., wash is going in washer. Rainy spell for a few days here, so inside projects coming up although some may be inside garage. Few boxes to unpack yet and little more organizing as well. Time to start wrapping up loose ends as weather heads into fall. Guess our fall color is going to be about a week to two weeks later this year, due to warm weather. Also gotta read and see what's new on the forum too :)

Well, enough jabbering for the morning. Have a nice day everyone. CArol, see you snuck in ahead of me. Glad you had a nice Get Away. Why not just call a realtor and see if they can find somebody to do some fixes for you. Be way easier. Sorry about your sister. Hopefully it will be something like reaction to the arm/shoulder thing.

I know it is still hot down there, Donna, but I have a friend from New York City that I am meeting, or rather picking her up at the Jacksonville Airport on Monday. She not only has never stayed in an RV or even ever camped, but is really a city girl and does not even drive. We became friends when we spent quite a few years on a non-profit board of directors. Haven't seen her for a long time, so it will really be fun! And it does look like it is scheduled to get a bit cooler next week, but hope it is not too rainy so she can enjoy the beach at Fort Clinch.

So, got to get moving before the rain hits here in southern Ohio. Need to make it to Cumberland Gap tonight where I am going to visit with one of my many cousins that lives near there. I also have five cousins in Florida, by the way, and hope to see them all this winter. Nothing like having a ton of cousins growing up--had 29 first cousins in all. :o

Good morning gals!

Beautiful, cool, breezy, sunny day here today. Perfect for my running around and working in the garage today. Need to finish cleaning that out and make room for the trailer and start loading that up. Lots to do yet but have the next 4 whole days to get it all done and finally hit the road!

In the evenings, I have been working on my road trip plans and what things along Route 66 I want to stop and see. I am really looking forward to that and to finally making it to Arizona and relaxing for a week by the pool before starting back to work.
Liz and I are hoping to meet up somewhere around Winslow AZ as we cross paths near there next week! It will be great to finally meet her!

I am off and running now, so take care and have a great day! :D

Just a quick good morning. Almost noon here.
Allergy shots day, not sure yet what else. May try to get back to paper war - have ignored for a few days.
Have a good one

Made the six hour drive back from show near Prospect, PA, and arrived in the driveway about 11:30. I flipped my solar inverter on and didn't even both hooking up the electric. I love my battery bank. I have already been to the store to resupply and now have the remainder of the laundry to finish up and take some additional clean clothes out to the rig. Need to load another kayak and I think I will be ready to roll out to Indiana tomorrow. Since it is raining I might wait for tomorrow for that kayak part...... :) I am looking forward to seeing Kathy and I am guessing some others women that I don't know since the hermit part of me hasn't been active on any of those FB RV sites much. I love Brown County State Park, there is a lake around there some where and the village of Nashville is cute. The dogs and I will find enough to do even if it is just to sit still and breathe.......(they will of course expect the hike to occur first.....)

Now off to enter some dog shows for next month..... :)

Liz, there is a nice, free cg outside of Winslow - you probably know that already :) , but just in case.

Just got a nice card from brother #1 who I heard from the other day with his blessing. His wife (surprisingly) included a very nice letter and a $100 check. So that is a big unexpected surprise. Just finally heard back from brother #2 and he also gave me his blessing and said he and his wife will visit me when they are down there this winter to visit her son. So all is well with all that! Yay! Huge weight off my shoulders!

Lots of running around this morning and just one or two more errands to run and then hit the garage. My trailer is done and ready to be picked up now. Just have to make room for it in the garage. Also discovered I was looking at the wrong calendar and the first isn't until Saturday, so I have an extra day to get ready for the move! :) I was sure I was leaving on Friday! So everything is falling into place now. :D

Yup, that's where I'm heading. Hope they'll have a site available.
