Busy Wednesday !!

Good Morning Everyone !!! I'm sure not to be the first today, but time I checked in again, and then see who post before me,, never fails . I'm packing up the rv for another run away camping trip. Meeting friends down at one of the COE cgs in north Ga. 60 miles or so away and another new cg for me. Would have already had rv ready except I got a call from Sheriffs office Monday morning that a bank had been robbed just down the road from me and for residents to take care, So I went and shut my doors and stayed inside all day. One disadvantage of living way out and no neighbors home during the day. Yesterday was full of packing up my stuff I don't want in here. I found another place to take it all too, from my camping friend of last week end. Resource center I had planned on dumping it all on, moving and not sure I can park rv to unload. (it will take awhile). This center is not on the way to doing errands so will get a REAL load together to take.

Everything is pretty much the same here, not sure what the outcome will be. Can't stew about it, just doing what I can and keep trying ideas to find someone to do these repairs. Called two different numbers for a handyman yesterday and both no answers, information was several years old ads I got numbers from.

In the meantime I'm really looking forward to this trip, Thursday thru Sunday. A nice get a way.

Good Morning, This whole week has been crazy for me, several appointments every day. After tomorrow should have doctor and dentist appointments finished. On the plus I had a great massage and the foot doctor and acupuncture made me feel a lot better. The man I have gone to for almost 15 years for massage is moving to Florida! I am so shocked as two weeks ago he commented that he didn't like Florida! Now he has bought a house and moving to Lake Placid area. He went for short vacation, found a place he loved and his house here is on the market.

CArol, have you thought about just leaving your house as is and moving on? Many people leave their stuff as many new owners would love to have furnishings. Also you could sell as is and probably get as much $$ and not have the anguish of trying to get help. It sounds like it is time for you to move on down the road Listen to your heart and your gut.

Off to get ready for dentist, then to teach yoga class. I need a nap. Andy wakes me around 4:30 every morning and sometimes I can't go back to sleep, this was one of those mornings.

I also woke up early and couldn't get back to sleep. I hate that, since it wrecks my whole day and I feel like a truck ran over me. Got too much on my mind tho.

Will be checking out a little cargo trailer this afternoon. If I get it, that will take a huge load off my mind (and into the trailer ). Still have way more stuff than will fit in my Jeep and running short on time. I will go back to work tomorrow for 4 days and then be done there. Then have 3 1/2 days to get packed and loaded and clean my apartment by noon on Thursday. Then hit the road!

Cloudy, warm and very humid here yet. Storms with heavy rain predicted for later and overnight.

Sounds like several others on here are purging their stuff too! Lots of work!

Yes, BJ, that's really what I plan, tired of putting my traveling money in here and taking up my time and it seems its always something. I do plan to leave all the furniture I do not want or need, I will see about loading a Uhaul and taking down to Fl and just leave the rest. Right now I am gathering clothes, linens , kitchen items etc. to take where they can really be used. After my little holiday this week end, will call a woman realtor and see if she can sell as is and leave the repairs to someone else or maybe she knows a person to fix some of this. I've been so tempted to just walk out and leave it all, my play time is running out and just setting here is crap !!! Not wanting to leave my children with a big headache is only reason I am still here , trying !!!

Good for you CArol, I don't think your kids would have to do anything if you just sell, and I'm sure they would rather have you happy and healthy than you working yourself so much.

Barbie I hope you get organized and on the road as planned. Sounds as though things are coming together.

Barbie, I think a little uhaul is a great idea and takes a lot of the stress away. Then you have more room in the car for kitty and her carrier.

Much to my surprise, we had a short rain shower around 9 this morning. Monday was 102 and today 90's again but big deal here is critical fire danger due to drought and wind. Back to near 100 for weekend. Just praying no fires get going. Off to Curves. Cooked chicken yesterday and used as tacos and tonight making enchiladas if you're hungry. Have a good rest of your week.

I drove up to see the trailer today. It has a lot of room in it for a 4' X 3' trailer. Cute little thing. However, when we hooked it up to check the lights, only some came on intermittently and others not at all. The guy couldn't figure out what the problem was and apologized for them not working right. I offered him $50 less to buy it as-is and he agreed. It is small enough that you can still see my Jeep lights above it so I was good going home with it that way. I now have it at a friends house who is going to rewire the whole thing for me cheap (just parts) so that will work. It will fit quite a lot of my plastic bins in it so I am happy.

Supposed to get torrential rains overnight. We have broken a record with the wettest summer ever here and this won't help any. Then more rain for the next few days.

Am tired tonight but should try to get a few more things done before bedtime. I did get my flu shot today too. My insurance runs out at the end of next week.

Oh, and I got a notice last week that my car license tabs are due this month so I was all set and ready to pay $50 to get those before I left town. Then as we were playing around with the trailer lights, I noticed my tabs say March '17. So the notice I got was for my old Jeep, not the new one! Yay! Another $50 saved!

CArol really called it when she said it's Busy Wednesday. I am pooped. I brought Posse to the vet for 7:30 and then went to Walmart to kill some time before the bank opened. They are moving things again so had some of the aisles blocked which was aggravating. Went to the bank and headed out to Lafayette to go to Sam's. Brought the food home and put it up. The RV place called that I could pick up my motorhome. My son brought me to get it. I couldn't pick Posse up util 5:15 so had a couple of hours to kill. I'm good at that. Went to Michaels and TJ Maxx.

The vet wants her to eat soft food for 10 days. About the only way to do that is keep her caged for 10 days or shut her up and only feed the other cats when she is shut up. Harold is always giving them treats so I know he wouldn't remember to not give them treats. I brought the big kennel in the house and put her in the bathroom. She is going to like the caned food. She inhaled a small can of cat food.

I need to finish packing so I can leave in the morning. This should be an interesting weekend for my son and Harold. I wonder if Posse wants to go to the beach.
