Tuesday and Time to Wake Up

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Tuesday and Time to Wake Up

Postby Bethers » Tue Sep 13, 2016 9:14 am

Ok, sleepyheads! Time to rise and shine.

Pick anything from our virtual kitchen with our virtual chef this morning. Yum.

Linda texted me at 7:30 that she overslept. Could I walk her dogs? Of course. But I'm waiting for the temp to hit 40. Plus it's sprinkling. Our dogs will not get a long walk this morning. Peaches is patiently waiting as I stay cuddled under my covers.

Stay safe. Have fun. Share your adventures.

Good morning...yawn!
Got up early to bring my Jeep in to get the oil pan replaced. Came home and crawled back into bed but couldn't get back to sleep with my mind racing. So now I am up but still tired. I see a nap in my future!

Gotta tackle the garage today. Ugh! Nice day for it tho with temps still cool and dry.

I ordered a cat carrier the other day that has wheels and also can be used as a back pack, so I can put Lola in that in the car and take her with me if I need to when I stop places on my trip. I also need to pick up a calming collar for her before I leave. That worked nice on the way back from California.

Hope you all have a good day! :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Good Morning!

Yes Beth, it’s a wee bit nippy this morning! Has it snowed in Keystone yet? KELO is saying that there is a possibility. Barbie, when you finish your garage you can start on mine. What a mess it is! Now that it’s getting cooler and the humidity isn’t so high I will probably bite the dust (literally) and work on it. Today I am dog-sitting for Missy’s Roxie. She’s not very happy about the cool weather and wet grass and is just basking in the sun by the patio doors watching squirrels. She’ll be really happy when she gets to go for a ride when I go uptown to pick up the mail. She's so easy to watch and is pretty much at home here. Knows that I still keep a treat jar full and walks in the house and stands by the kitchen counter where I keep them. Missy's daughter and I are the only people she doesn't bark at when we walk into Missy's house.

Have a good day everyone.
My mind works like lightning...one brilliant flash and it's gone.

Pat, no snow being mentioned here - not dropping quite low enough and tomorrow temps will rise again. Actually tonight the lows will be in the 40's again. No sun here today, but tomorrow sunny and high of 70 again.

I'm mostly off today and have a long list of things I should be doing. Ha. So far have accomplished none of them.

Barbie, do you use a certain brand of calming collar? I want to get one for my cat for the trip to AZ.

Another calming product for dogs and cats is Rescue Remedy. The have one especially for animals now that is alcohol free but you only use 4 drops. I have always used the regular one for the dogs and for me. Here is an Amazon link but it is also available at vet supply places. https://www.amazon.com/Rescue-remedy-pe ... NWZUC?th=1
