Fantastic Friday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Fantastic Friday

Good Morning! Can’t believe I’m the first person here! I haven’t posted in ages…but I usually read every day. Didn’t check in on the first, but had remembered to say Rabbits about 3am when I was wide awake wandering around the house! I thought Anita might be headed toward Mitchell when I read her post on FB yesterday and then saw that they were going in a different direction. I was going to try to meet her Mitchell for a quick lunch. Camp Cihak has been unoccupied this summer. We had a nice weekend camping with friends weekend before last. Was really happy we didn’t have our normal reservations at a local campground over Labor Day. A major storm with 100+ mph straight winds went through Sunday night and destroyed several houses in the area. As it was my sister came for the weekend and we took in some of the activities at a nearby towns Labor Day celebration. Bronc was in the kiddie parade with his cousins on Saturday and they won 2nd place in their division. We went to the big parade and arts in the park on Monday. It was 116th Labor Day parade. We were braced for an influx of politicians but there were only a handful.

I’ve started fall cleaning and purged in my closet! Took a couple of huge boxes of clothes to a thrift store and only came home with three garments for Bronc and a Liz Claiborne denim jacket and Halloween flag for myself! Still have a couple more closets to go.

Not much new around here so I won’t bore you. Am posting my latest picture of my little cowboy

As of right now, Camp Cihak is still in my plans for early next month. Weather permitting.

I'm cuddled in bed. Had to shut windows and turn my heat on... was great sleeping, but too cold to want to get up, yet.

Good morning Everybody from sunny and cool CT. Pat, it was so nice to read your post and see the latest photo of Bronc. Anita is moving fast and having a blast on her SS. She'll just have to make a return trip to visit Camp Cihak. Hope the weather holds Beth gets to visit. Enjoy today. Peggy

On a break from work for awhile (split shift). Just relaxing today. Did a ton of work yesterday around here going thru boxes and closets, etc. Still lots to do...

Today is warm and very humid! Supposed to cool off this weekend and low humidity and only in the upper 60's for highs next week! Will be good weather for going thru the crap in my garage!

Got to work this morning and found out that one of my coworkers, who is on vacation in the Black Hills, got married out there yesterday! She and her new husband have been together for like 16+ years so it was way overdue, but after several marriages, I didn't think she would do it again.

A month ago, a former coworker went to Hawaii with her boyfriend and he proposed to her on the beach. They got married there 2 days later on the beach in their white swim suits, and next week they are moving back to Hawaii for good! Big changes in her life in such a short time!

And last night I found out that one of the new stylists at our shop is a stripper at night!

So that is all my interesting news here! Lol!

Bronc is a cute little cowboy! :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

I spent the better part of the day in the ER with my younger son. He has been having a pain in his side and muscle spasms for at least a week. This morning he finally decided to go see about it. He really didn't get any answers but ruled out a blood clot in his lung, heart problem and nothing broken. He has a history of back pain and muscle spasms from that. At least he got some medicine to take.

Barbie, your shop might have some interesting new clients considering the new stylist's night job.

Pat, that Bronc is a cutie. You can come clean my closet. Now would be a good time to get rid of all the sweaters I don't wear.

Guess I better go feed the barn cats before I fall asleep in my chair. I am pooped.
