Wet Wednesday

Good Morning,

Getting some much needed rain here. Glad I decided to come home a couple days early as not only did they have a big thunderstorm up where I was, the whole line was moving east and when it came through here, knocked out power to northern area of county and also trees. I would have been driving with it all the way. No thanks.

Tina, had I known you were going to be in Brighton, I would have come down. Good luck at the dog show and enjoy the kayaking. CArol, glad you are having company to lighten your days for a bit. Life throws some punches once in awhile. Barb, sounds like you are making progress toward moving. When will you be leaving MN? Lyn, glad you enjoyed your trip and the park. Sounds like you can't wait to go back.

Hearing aid appt. for me today, but first going to run some errands. Need new window well covers for the basement and also some food for the fridge :) fall is coming, so time to start finishing up loose ends around here before colder weather sets in eventually. Hoping for at least one more trip with trailer yet too.

Time to move along here. Have a wonderful and safe day everyone.

Gloomy morning here and not too motivated to do anything yet. Don't have to work until 3pm.

Sue, I am leaving on October 1st. Lots to do yet as far as sorting and purging. Have tomorrow off so will try to get the garage all cleaned out. I am getting a new oil pan put in my Jeep next Tuesday. Expensive but necessary before I hit the road.

Hope you all have a good day!

Gmorning Sue, Barbie & all to follow:)

You did make a good move getting home earlier, Sue! Glad you got rain though--I think you're sending it this way, as we are to get some on Thurs:) Barbie, Oct 1st is right around the corner:) Bet you're excited! Tina, you sure are busy on the dog show circuit! I thought you somewhat retire from all that ;)

I've gotten myself into a bazillion fall projects. Every year, I end up rearranging things in my house, then after being on the road all winter, I forget where the heck I put things! And I'm starting to tear out the garden as well, except for spaghetti squash & egg plant...

So I'm back to my chores! Y'all have a great day & be safe always 8-)

Good morning, Sue and all to follow. I'm running late this morning, actually slept in! The dogs had me up early and I decided to go back to bed and slept longer then I figured I would. Working on my second cup off coffee and then I need to get busy. Like you, Sue, I have some things to finish up outside before the colder weather sets in. Still need to get some painting done but forecasters calling for rain this afternoon so guess that'll have to wait. Sue, good that you decided to come home early from the sound of the weather. Apparently it's coming this way. I was hoping to get away for a few days this week but have a vet appointment tomorrow for Doodles. No hot spots this time but lots of scratching and losing some hair.. Figured I needed to try to find out what I should do to make him more comfortable. The "normal" things we've done don't seem to be working this time.

Anita, enjoying your posts on your SS trip! I still laugh at your comments about the speed limits here in the east! Even if you weren't going fast ;) I still enjoyed the ride! Haven't seen much from Donna either here or FB, hope everything is okay with her dad. Tina, sounds like you and the pups are busy with travels and shows. Lyn, glad you were able to get out and are looking forward to getting out again.

Guess I should get my day going. Hope everyone has a good day and travel safe. Oh, and Happy Birthday, BJ!

Hi Carolb...I love spaghetti squash and egg plant!!! And, what did you add to that Angel Hair Pasta you made last year at Fiesta Island? My daughter and I are trading days for cooking. I must find receipts!....
Also, Police are kicking out campers on Fiesta Island and ticketing them. ($52 ticket) I am not sure why at this time. There are not that many RV parks around here.
