Good Morning Tina and Everyone !! My goodness Tina you were sure up early. Hoping Josef does well today and you do manage that nap later. The sun took awhile to show itself here, we had low clouds with fog for our early hours. Not sure what my day will be here, just talked to my sis they are off the ship, its been quite an ordeal for her, they are on the way to hospital to get her arm fixed, she has been In a lot of pain. Its a real bad break, bone is broken long wise between shoulder and elbow, not across as is usual. She said she always tried to do everything really good, think she managed on this score too. Anyway, will try to keep busy and wait for call later today that her arm is screwed back together etc.

I have another water leak, huge electric bill is how I find this out, but its down at the cabin and its been leaking awhile the whole floor is thoroughly soaked, I can't find a shut off value if there is one, so am waiting for my guy to come to fix my bathroom floor in here. He doesn't know I have this other problem too. So, I have no water to work with, thankfully I filled everything I had to flush etc. before turning breaker off for well, and just got a lot of drinking water, so I'm ok, just unhandy, but I do without water so much with all these mishaps that I am quite good at managing :D Also have the rv for back up, for showers etc.

So, with no water to clean with am sorting, throwing and packing for me or thrift shops. Let me tell you all of a wonderful thing that happened to me last night. while on a trip back before my last try to get to Alaska, I bought this neat looking folder at a yard sale. Love picture on front of it, first page is one of those with pockets, one on front side and other on back side. I had notes from my trip as far as I got on the way to Alaska with stops and remarks and expenses in it. On the back side of this front page is another pocket, don't know what made me stick my hand in there, maybe thinking I had made a note on small piece of paper or something, whatever the reason, Ladies I found 3 one hundred dollar bills in there apparently money from Alaska trip. Among all the not so good things happening in my life this was really a Happy find, I was so tickled and not a soul to tell   Sure will come in handy, its not like there aren't places it has to go right now :o :D You can be sure I am checking thoroughly all items as I go through and pack or especially I throw . ;) :D

So I will quit rambling on that happy note from here. Hope everyone is having a good holiday week end, stay safe and enjoy,
Hope also that you all are starting to have nicer weather.

Mornin' Tina, Carol & all that follow ~~~
Sounds like the shoe is going well for Josef. Keep it up little guy (well every furkid is little to me :) ) And what a lucky find Carol! That $$$ will definitely come in handy with the water troubles.

Not much on the agenda today. Just some housework & grocery shopping. And maybe some yard work since it's been sorely neglected with all of the OT work this summer.

Have a good day ladies and stay safe on the roads.

Heading back from my son's house in Ohio for another week in Michigan. He has power sanders and sanded all the rust from my steps and driver and passenger running boards and then painted them with black rust oleum. They look fantastic. Side door key plate had paint worn off so sprayed that as well. Result was better than new. And with the Blue Beacon truck wash I got yesterday everything really looks great!!

Good morning.

Wow, Tina how do you manage to end up with all those early ring times? I'd really have a problem as I ease so slowly into my days now.

Sorry about your leak Carol but great find on the $$. Once in a while I stumble into some I've hidden for one reason or another. When Magic was robbed, they got almost all the cash I had stashed but missed a $50.00 I put between some papers. I almost tossed it when I was cleaning up.

Not sure what I'm doing this afternoon. Not feeling very well after having coffee on porch and foolishly sweeping part of it. Head plugged up quickly. Just checked to pollen forecast, not good for me as it is very high for the next 5 days. Not like I don't have plenty to do inside, just not where I want to be.

Good afternoon from Vail, CO

We had rain this morning. Now clouds come and go. Saw the rest of my buddies off (which was very sad) and with 9 days straight of riding to NY coming up, I'm staying 'home'! Everyone has been great, but the younger guys who let me hang with them were the best. I am old enough to be their mother! Two of the older guys' wives have joined us here so it's been fun to meet them.

Glad to know you are doing so well, Peggy. So good that Donna's sister arrived for this difficult time. Barbie, sometimes having a deadline helps get things done faster - sounds like you are moving right along. Tina, your furbabies just keep winning!

Think it's time I pay attention to my finances! Hope all are having a good and safe day.

When I started typing, I had only seen Tina's post! CArol, you have bad and you have good! I wouldn't dare stash money - I'd never remember where I put it. Did that with a box of jewelry in the 5er one time.

Anita, I don't think that was stashed so to speak as it was just in my trip book and the way that trip ended, it was a month before I thought of much and I am just so glad that I liked the cover of this spiral notebook enough, that it didn't get into one of my yard sales I have had since  I was going to use it last night for notes and accidently found this and I was very much a Happy person !! mainly because it didn't find its way into one of several yard sales :D
