Beautiful ride (well except for the dirty rain). Loved the pic of the SS's (ssssssssssss :P ) backed into the parking spaces. Bikers got nothing on you guys!

Sheila, we really don't do much sightseeing. It's all about the ride.

I flunked photography today so no photos. We woke up to RAIN! Ride was postponed for a couple hours. From the SS group there are certain rather highly regarded individuals and I have now gotten to meet some of them. While we all lingered over coffee this morning, Henry (who installed my shocks and new shifter) mentioned that I could use a new rear tire and to be careful on wet surfaces. Some of us had just talked about the tire the other day. Brian, who has been with us riding with his dad, works for Discount Tire. He kindly called all over trying to find a tire for me. One place - 118 miles away - has 2 in stock! Guess where I'll be going tomorrow. Brian left to go home today and I'll miss him!

We did have a nice ride and through Glen Canyon was breathtaking! After the rain and things being wet, I didn't have my camera out!! I may get another chance.

The two brothers and I broke off from the group at one point. Large group rides aren't really great after awhile.

I have met so many great people - though I don't think I'm probably too popular with some but they were warned this morning that I do like to GO!

September 3 - https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set ... 54f03720af

Real exciting day to go get a new tire - should have done it before I came!! I actually drove part of what one of the groups rode so didn't miss much. Plus, they got wet coming back. Apparently one couple didn't even have rain gear!
