Good Morning,
Sunshine starts the day here. Looking like a great weather pattern coming up for rest of week and perfect for Labor Day weekend. Might have a shower or maybe a thunderstorm this afternoon, but scattered. Going to get a little cooler though starting tomrrow for a couple of days. Highs in the 60's and low 70's and up from there. Going to be great camping weather.
I'm getting the trailer loaded slow but sure. Going to pick up a few things from the store this morning and then will put rest of stuff in that I want to take. This evening I will load the fridge. Have an early appt. in town tomorrow morning and then will come home, hitch up and be gone. Only going to Indian Lake State Park near Manistique, in the Upper Peninsula, about two hour or a bit over drive. Then will move on to Van Riper State Park, near Champion for remainder of weekend. Come home next Tuesday. Want to avoid the Labor Day traffic. Can watch everybody else leave. School bells ring on Tuesday. This will be Piper's first camping trip and first time in my trailer, so don't know how she is going to react, but I'm sure she will be fine.
Donna, so sorry to hear about your dad. And I agree with the others, you need to ask questions and make it clear to the doctors that you are his caregiver. Don't know if he every made up a POA for health care, but now is when one should have been. Alice, been wanting to say congrats on the earlier than planned retirement. I just know everything will work out. Sounds like you are doing your research and getting your ducks in a good line as you say. Sheila, congrats on the new to you truck. Now you can be mobile again. Can't remember what else I read, but I know some of you have been busy and others enjoying time on the road. I won't have Wifi tomorrow night but will on Thursday night, so will miss Rabbits Rollcall on Thursday.
Well, time to be moving along here. Wash is in the washer, bed needs to be made as I changed the sheets, got to get cleaned up and mosey on to town. Y'all have a great and safe day.
