Craft Fair Friday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Craft Fair Friday

Morning,

As you can see by the title, that's what I am gong to today, well at least for the morning anyway. Every year in August there is a huge Arts and Craft fair here. It's juried, so no junk. At least 80 vendors, so really fun to browse. Goes on rain or shine. And there is rain around. We had a little last night, about enough to wet the ground and that was all. All that rain that Barb had and Judy mentioned, moved into WI and NE into the Upper Peninsula and on into Canada. So we got nothing. There are scattered hit and miss showers around now.

My making French doors out of the bifold came out perfect. I have a little framing to do along the top of the door frame but that's all. Will post pics when I finish up. It really wasn't hard to do either.

So that's pretty much the way it is here at the 45th. Have a good, safe day everyone.

I'm meeting a new doctor this morning. Fingers crossed! Here's hoping she'll actually be up-to-date. She's only a few years out of med school, so I'm hopeful.

Just dropping in to say Hi!
Having the big Estate/garage sale tomorrow & Sunday. My sisters have helped pull evertging out of every cabinet & drawer , one is a real organizer & marketer. Everything is set up - just need to finish the kitchen , garage & laundry room today & price everything.
The condo deal in CA might be falling through due to a low appraisal. There's nothing in the area similar so he compared it to apartment condos rhather townhouses. I'll find out today if they accept our rebuttal on it. But it's doubtful they'll bring it up much. Oh well must not be the one God wants for me. Glad I've had this house to focus on this week.
Well one sister us due here in a few minutes so I better sign off.
Take care everyone. Enjoy today whatever it brings your way .
Catherine.

I would like to go to a Craft Fair but I don't think we will be going anywhere today. We are under a flash flood warning. There is flooding in the cities around us. It will rain hard here for a few minutes and then slack off so the water is draining off right now. The pasture that floods behind the house hasn't flooded yet. All the schools were canceled except our parish but I bet they will be closed by noon. This system is moving so slow that everyone is going to get a lot of rain. They are saying our area could get 9 inches of rain total. We have been having problems with our internet for the past 3 or 4 days and this is not helping. I finally got aggravated and got my Verizon tablet out to use as a hot spot.

Catherine, hope you have a good sale. That sounds like a lot of work. Good thing you have help.

I better get dressed before the lights go out. It's going to be a long day if the electricity goes off.
