Good morning everyone... I had a really nice weekend CArol called wanted to know if I wanted to camp out Friday and Saturday she would come over and we could go to Wickham Park Campground so that's what we did... I had a great time at my Shakedown campout find out things I like and found out things I don't like one thing I'm going to have to take care of and that is a bed I'm not sure how to do that or what to do... but the cushions s that come with the Roadtrek & the memory foam just don't work especially with a long legged wiry red headed little Chihuahua in bed with you... but all in all I like it it was easy to drive and easy to park anywhere... on Saturday we went to Dollar Tree to find some cards so we can play cards I got to turn on the generator and use the AC for Pheebe it worked great.. even though it is so hot in Florida... early morning we could sit outside and have a coffee and breakfast and then again early evening we could sit outside and enjoy the evening and there was not very many mosquitoes maybe it was the breeze that we had kept them at Bay... during the hot afternoon we sat in Carol rig andand played cards... so all in all I had a really great weekend it was so nice to get away I haven't been anywhere in over a month the last time was with Margie at Mount Dora ... well I got a lot of stuff to keep me busy this morning running around phone calls grocery wearing all that stuff so have a good one & B safe...donna

Good Morning Donna and all who follow,

Nice cool 57 degree morning here at the 45th. Have to enjoy it as temps are on the rise again for this coming week. Same thing seems to happen every week of late. We get a really nice cool and comfortable weekend followed by gradual warming during the week, then a couple of days of hot humid weather and back to cool down on weekends. Glad I cancelled my reservation for this week as 91 and humid, sitting in the direct sun doesn't cut it with me. Nope, will stay home and be in my sort of Air Conditioned house where at least I can do somethings.

Donna, there is a company called "Foam for You" that makes some really great rubber based density foam in any shape and size. I have some on my queen bed in my trailer and it's heaven sleeping on that bed let me tell you. More than worth the money as compared to other foams, it being rubber based, will not break down over time. You can find it online www.foamforyou.com. Price depends on thickness, size and density of foam you want. Sounds like you are in love with your RT though Wish i could find one. Although don't know if I can afford to keep two motor vehicles.

Finished the porch trim painting yesterday Sure looks good and brand new.. No more painting for this week as will be too hot and humid. If next weekend gets cooler and dry again like it's predicted, then will probably tackle the porch floor itself and be done with that. Want to get that and the deck done before the colder weather sets in. So today am catching up on bookwork, then going to give the house a good cleaning as the floors will dry good today. Off to town to pick up some dog food and few things from store later. Sort of a puttery around day.

Looks like more rain and a lot of it headed to AL and all along the SE. Some parts of FL getting huge amounts too. Keep dry and safe, those of you who are getting it. Wish you could send some of it here as we could certainly use it. Been enjoying what everybody's been doing, even if nothing. Belated Happy Birthdays to those who had them and a hearty Welcome to the new ladies who have joined recently. One of these days I will get caught up on it all.

So, am going to get busy here. Have a nice day everybody.

Good Morning Everyone !!! I'm back on Gran'ma duty. Kids came home this morning and were really happy to see me, makes me know my volunteering to be with them this summer was a right move. (Donna wonders about my mental health though  :D ) Glad to be back on my laptop, I can't take that hunt and peck stuff to type for very long message.

Had a great week end with Donna, we both needed it, I think. I so enjoyed my time with her, hot and all during mid day. Put me in a good frame of mind to do last week here, that and the fact, I finally have my rig back. Floor is still some what soft as Thor person called it, but I know its braced good and I'm not going through it. Nan, always commented on my having problem leveling my rig, well, I'm thinking floor was some of the reason, I know at times, couple of places would show level and middle would be way off, that was before my REAL soft stuff started  You figure floor is place to level from, not table or counters etc, so I doubt I was ever level. I always checked slide area, and think that might be my determining factor in future too. Anyway, no one really knows what a blessing and great feeling I have knowing I have my rig back. You know my rving is my choice and way of life and all of my friends, makes my world go around really good. Enables me to visit all of my family who are not sure where I live, or gosh that must be the problem , right ???? :P

Well, time to get off of here, things to do and thinking we better go swimming early today, Those traveling, I'm trying hard not to envy :D then I think of heat some of you are enduring and that helps the envy part. Liz and those in Northwest are ones I try hard not to have that ole "E" word . With the pool and A/C and my grans and games with them, really hasn't been all that bad of a summer.

Take care all, stay safe and whatever and wherever you are enjoy your day !!!

We have had our excitement for the day. I heard a commotion in the living room and went to see what was going on. Frosty had a mouse. I let him out the door with his mouse and dumb butt lets it go under the front porch. We spent the next 30 minutes trying to catch the mouse. I finally went and got one of the barn cats and he caught it. Frosty just wanted to chase it. It's only 100 degrees. A little warm to be chasing anything. That's the first mouse we have had in years.

Donna, do you have one of the electric sofas in your motorhome? I have a 2" memory foam on one of my sofas. I put a fitted sheet on it over the memory foam and just raise it up to use as a sofa. I put a beach towel on the seat to keep the sheet from getting dirty. I don't have room to be storing a memory foam topper and I'm sure you don't either. I think if I was to buy another one I would get a 3".
