Trying to get the place re organized. Have had a very busy summer. Spent time with son and d-I-l and the baby at the University of MN for tests. Thankful that nothing physical was found for her inability to eat more than 4 ounces at a time. Her system just wants small amounts. I think she is like her Grandpa that way. She is on so many food restrictions because of intolerances that it is hard to find foods for her to eat. No dairy, no soy, no eggs, no wheat! She is not a baby now. Turned 14 months old on Saturday and already has a 2 year old attitude! But we love her to bits! Also had to get ready for company in mid-July. Then I volunteer as a University of Minnesota Master Gardener and our group is involved with our local county fair which was last weekend. I chair part of the event and round up fellow volunteers to staff the booth. Kept me busy all through July. It's almost a let down when it is over but so much fun to do.
Weather is going back to thick and sticky this week. Ugh. Maybe in August we will find a weekend or two to go camping. Already starting to plan my Jan/Feb time in Yuma. Have a great day everyone.

good morning ladies
it was certainly a long weekend for me and of course that was not the plan, so I was not prepared but here we are
first of a new month and back to work day after tomorrow. Its bitter sweet.
Getting ready to call my retirement association and get some facts answered, or I might go down there, but I'm told
I can handle it over the phone. We'll see.
I'm grateful for a little cooler temps this week, a little overcast and thats what makes it cooler.
Time to jump in the shower.
Ya'll have a great day, be safe.

Hello Everyone, mornings gone but will check in. I'm in central Fl at a great CG, have a dr app Wed so will be in this general area for several days. This CG is in my ole home area of yrs ago and we never even stopped and checked it out. Always passed coming or going and you know how that goes, didn't stop and smell rhe roses!! So sorry too as great place. Totally booked from Nov thru April, only 15 camp sites and very spacious. No problem getting a site this time of year. Mid day and a great breeze off the lake so I'm setting outside which is a first for me this time of year.

So sorry Peggy to hear you have surgery coming up, not something we look forward to, but they do such amazing things anymore. We'll be thinking of you, knowing you'll be fine.

Take care all, Stay Safe,
CArol

I completely forgot 'rabbits' -- but it's ok, because I was on my way to the airport early. Picked up my sister, who had been away for a while, first in Connecticut and then Oregon. On the way home, freeway traffic was at a complete standstill, and we got send off on a surface street. We didn't even care, because she had so many great stories to tell!

Here for rabbits roll all! We had a quick trip for followups at swallowing clinic today, then usual PT this afternoon for Mel. Not a lot planned this week.
Peggy will be thinking about you as you have your surgery and recovery and hoping it all goes well and recovery is uneventful.
Excited to see pics of the new RVs in the group. Always looking hoping we can get to that stage.
We finally broke the 100 plus 8 day streak with a lovely 60's morning and 95 yesterday and trending towards 80's later in week. My kind of weather!
Have a good week and month everyone!

I remembered to say rabbits at 12:01 last night. It has cooled off a little here because it's over cast and we had a shower. It's only 91. Much better than 102 like yesterday.

Peggy sorry you have to have surgery. My son had heart surgery at Penn Presbyterian Hospital in Philadelphia. I was really impressed with that hospital compared to some here. I didn't know that hospitals have VIP suites. Since no one was using it and my son was military they let him have the VIP suite. It was like having his own ICU unit. I know you will do fine and feel much better. My gynecologist said I needed to find a heart doctor because I didn't want him for my doctor if I ever have a heart attack. Not that I have a problem but every doctor I see seems to think I need a GP or someone I see regularly. I am pretty healthy as far as I know. If I have a problem I just cut out the middle man and go to a specialist. The problem with that is if I have an emergency I will end up in the ER.

Carolb, I think a farm stand in the yard sounds better than having to cook everything for the freezer. Sorry all your company left and didn't leave you the SS. lol In 3 weeks I have a campout with the Louisiana women. If it wasn't so darn hot and raining every day I would go to the lake with my sister.

CArol, glad you finally got your motorhome back and found a nice campground. I love to be camped on the water.

I went with my son to take his dog to the vet this morning. He is finally free of heart worms. That dog won the doggie lottery when they found him hurt in their yard. He is very healthy now.

I picked up some fresh chicken sausage to cook in a gravy. It's a good thing I didn't get the hot one because the regular kind was very spicy. One of the local grocery stores has a lot of specialty meats they fix but they get a little carried away with the pepper.

Good morning all from N. Central CA - another sunny day but thankfully not as hot as it has been

Peggy sorry to hear that you need surgery but it will take care of things and get you back to 100%!! Remember when you fainted after your balloon ride in New Mexico. Maybe that was a precursor?? Good luck to you!!

Hi all,

Way past morning, but reporting in from KS.
Drive here was uneventful - paying the $$$ ahead of time for maintenance paid off. Sadie & I did well - lots of stops - actually stopped at 4 in the afternoon on the second day - that's a real record for me! I'm learning...

Working late at the office tonight - running the End of month processing. Just hoping it finishes before the alarm system gets armed for the night. If not, I have the instructions on how to disarm it until I leave - I just hate the hassle.

Lots to do at the house - Granddaughter is moving out next Tuesday (wish they could have gotten out before I returned but they bought a house & don't close until Monday - I didn't have the heart to make them move twice)

Peggy, Thanks for sharing with us - we all need to be more careful in listening to our bodies. While I hate going to doctors, I guess sometimes they do know what's best for us.

Will catch up later on...

I was laughing as I read someone saying it was not morning anymore...and I thought I could write that it was almost morning again...then
looked at the clock and it is 12:06...I'd say it's morning technically...don't you just love that commercial where the dad is asking the little
girl why she is still up and she says mom said I can have a midnight snack they go back and forth with her saying mom's the boss and he says technically
we both are and she says mom's the boss...
Peggy so sorry to hear about your upcoming surgery but think it's good to have it before its an emergency and having it...you will do well that is the day
my grandson is getting married...so much to do they asked me to make the cake hmmm sure except I have nothing to work with any more..it would almost be cheaper for me to pay for it...realized tonight that I had borrowed the wrong shape of pan now to justify buying one perhaps I can make the next grandchild
want the same shape of cake...not round and not square...its hexagon that is 6 sided right
well you all have a great day and month...forgot rabbits was up could have didn't think of it until I got on here tonight
