Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Thursday! It is ferry day.

Good morning! I spilled half of my coffe, so I will be going back for more. Got down to a cool 59* here in Digby, Nova Scotia this morning. Digby Campground looks out over a small bay that is fed by the Fundy Tidal Bore. Can watch the bay totally empty and then a few hours later it will be up 30-40'. I read where it can rise 12" a minute. I did see it come it really fast! Amazing! I did have Digby Scallops, freshly harvested, yesterday and will walk back for seconds today. Is foggy but the sun is breaking out.

Black capped Chickadees, Gray Catbirds, Gold Finches, Herring Gulls, and Robins talking outside the window right now.

Time to dump the tanks, store the hose I preparation for boarding the Digby to Saint John Ferry. Then I will go for a morning walk! Have a fun and safe day. Keep hydrated and cool.

Good morning all! Been away for awhile visiting with Carolb in her part of the country! Finally got to finish the trip I started last month! New awnwing is on but didn't need it since I was parked under Carol's tree! Carol played tour guide and I got to see lots of cool stuff. The highlight for me was getting to go to the Thousand Island area. We drove through there 37 years ago when we traveled from one assignment to another! I always said I wanted to spend some time there! So finally got to do it! Carol and I spent lots of time just sitting in her beautiful yard enjoying her gardens and watching the pups running around. I told the boys they weren't going to be allowed to bark at people and other dogs when they got home! And then on Monday we met up with Anita in Coopertown and spent a fun afternoon with her. And I got a ride in the SS! What fun that was! Got to hear about the trip Anita's going to make cross country, that'll be quite an exciting trip! I managed to come home on mostly back roads and avoided the construction zones on I-81! Actually, I think the whole road was a construction zone!

I see I missed Liz and Nancy's birthdays so wish you a happy belated birthday! And Donna, congrats to your new RT! You'll have such fun with it.

Looking like rain today, I hope anyway! It's so dry and my yard is actually crunchy. I spent yesterday cleaning up Lola and bringing in what needed to be brought in. Guess it's a good thing I did it all yesterday! She's ready to reload and take off again! Doing laundry today today and need to run to to the store for a couple of things at some point. So better go upstairs and get dressed and wash my hair and get busy. Hope everyone has a good day and stay safe!

Hi everybody,

Finally, getting some much needed rain. Not a lot, but better than none. We need it. Temp is a cool 61, so might be a long pants, polo shirt and rain coat trip to town this morning.

Am working on a closet organization project. Painted inside of a small storage closet yesterday. Going to buy some closet organization hardware and turn it into a shoe, boot, hat etc. closet. It's next to back door, so will be the perfect place.

Ava, an adventure? Now we will all be in suspense :D Birdie, sounds lovely where you are. Enjoy the ferry. I'm getting into camping mode myself. Changed my reservations at Van Riper State Park, near Champion in the U.P. To Labor Day weekend if anybody wants to join me. Made reservations for Aloha State Park near Cheboygan for Aug. 9-11. This weekend am going to an Old Engine and Tractor show that has a huge flea market, craft show, Veneer, shingle and band saw mills, blacksmiths, wood carving, etc., and then there's a nice craft show in Grayling this weekend too. So fun. Times ahead.

Time the get cleaned up here, wash hair and also breakfast dishes. Then off to town. Have a great day all. O'Sharon, see you snuck up in while I was typing. I can see by your post, you had a grand time. I'm gonna have to come out that way and let you ladies be my tour guide,p. Haven't seen PA yet and been a long time since I was in NY too.

Good afternoon :D

I changed the day for seeing the townhouse with the room for rent to tomorrow instead of Saturday since I found out I have to work on Saturday. I am anxious to check it out!

I hope my anxiety settles down. I hate feeling this way. :( I can take Xanax but it makes me groggy. I only take 1/4 of a tablet but still affects me. Not a problem at night tho, just at work.

Finally got the $100 prepaid Visa card for my trailer hitch install from Chrysler. Still waiting for the $800 rent credit to show up. Will probably use that to get the oil pan replaced on my Jeep. I noticed the oil puddle is growing under my car in the garage. :o

Sounds like several fun GTG's happening! Those in the extreme heat, stay inside where it is cool! Ava, have fun on your adventure!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Morning all! Had a very long (327 mile) drive yesterday, so I am staying put today and tonight. I have reservations at the no-hookup campground at Theodore Roosevelt National Park for tomorrow and Saturday, but am worried about the heat. I may stay the first night and then bail out to something with electric the next night when it is supposed to have a daytime high of 90. I guess I never planned on North Dakota being so hot!!

Slept in this morning, had my weekly teleconference with the college, and have lots of work to do, but I am also going to goof off a bit with TV watching. Got a huge almond bearclaw from Wheat Montana for a very late breakfast.
