Really neat place with the contrasts between river and rocky trails. I could not tell, do the signs tell you how long each trail is?

Beautiful pictures, Liz! (Happy birthday also.) Our daughter, SIL and their two girls live in Redmond, a block from the dry canyon which has paved biking/hiking trails, running right through the town. Love the Central Oregon area. We were just there last month. Traffic through Bend can be horrible though. I remember when it was a sleepy little logging town. So many beautiful places to camp, high desert and only 20 miles west to the most gorgeous mountain lakes. I do love my state!
