Perfect summer morning here. Sue, glad you realize we do miss you when you don't open MC:) BJ, hope you've had some cooling--good to see you here yesterday. OSharon, arriving later this week, unfortunately to some humidity, but that won't stop us from enjoying our time:)

Anita, glad SS is okay! Martha, glad you had a nice get away. And Alice, so glad you took yourself out for a special treat! I think that's the hardest part of purging--so easy to relive some of the memories happy or sad, attached to things...

Two more cousins in town, sisters of my cousin Di that lives here. Has been nice to catch up with them, expect them to stop by today. I live in our grandparents house, & they have so many memories here since they grew up in this area.

Good morning all! Been a busy couple of days, getting ready to leave for Carolb's. Doing what I can without Lola here. She's still at Jim's getting fixed and every time I turn around there's something I need to either take out or put in her! So I have a pile of stuff sitting around! I hope to get her back today since he knows I want to leave tomorrow or at least by Thursday. Mostly need to add food to the frig and clean sheets and towels I took out after the last trip. And of course clothes and other last minute things.

Pat, Bronc is such a cutie. Sue, sounds like things are moving right along with your new home. Interesting weather we're having. Beth needs heater and Alice having early morning heat! Not to mention you gals down south dealing with heat and humidity! Supposed to be nice here today and then 90's later in the week. Maybe it'll be cooler up north at Carol's! I probably won't need to mow since the yard isn't growing much right now, we need rain.

Went to see my chiropractor yesterday. She's taken her RV to a campground in Bedford and will be back and forth for the next several weeks. She suggested I come down one of the week ends she's there but after I checked they are pretty much full so I may just go down and visit one afternoon while she's there.

Well, I need to got started on my day. Lots to do! Hope you all have a good day and travel safe!

Thanks for opening this morning Carolb. Was chatting to Beazle (Eileen) and Gingerk (Kathy) on FB. Hoping to hook up with Eileen and DH on their maiden voyage with new MH after they get it. They want to finish trip around Lake Michigan.

O'Sharon, yes, interesting weather. 48 here this morning but warmer weather and humidity for later this week. Hope you get off to Carolb's.

Not sure what's on agenda here today. Errands for one I know. Worked outside yesterday doing this and that. Working on flowerbeds and in garage. Getting down to puttery stuff now. Things I want to make improvements on. Have one more fence post to sink in. Don't know if I will do that today or not. Need some landscaping bricks to start flowerbeds edging and some other things. So will see where day goes. First gotta get dressed and moving. Have a great day all.

good morning ladies
big monsoon storm yesterday, but not in my yard, son lost power for hours!
My great little getaway was just that, great! Breakfast was good but I didn't buy
a pie, another time.
Need to get to the social security office this morning, they sent me a letter saying I made too much
but my taxes clearly show I did NOT. So,,,,with tax papers in hand,
need to have them show me what am I missing in looking
at the figures, prove me wrong or prove them wrong. I thought they opened at 8 but thankfully I
looked on the internet and found out they don't open til 9. I would have been waiting down there
a whole hour!
I've finally started sleeping better at night, am thankful for that.
