Saturday for all!

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Saturday for all!

Postby BirdbyBird » Sat Apr 18, 2009 7:07 am

This is what I get for waking up all week for work. The cancelled the Saturday work in order to do some upgrade to the computer high speed phone lines and what do I find? No one in the kitchen. I did start the coffee and brought in some sweet munchies from Krogers. I can do many things but baking isn't on the list. at least not yet. I am off to get my shopping out of the way so I can take the dogs over to do their visiting at the nursing home. I think they miss that more than me when I am working. Sunshine is in the cards for us here in SW Ohio and 70's :) We will enjoy it all. Have a great day.

Good morning!

Glad the coffee is on,.... thanks! We have our first overcast day in a whole week here,... that's ok as I need to take a down day after doing so much outside work. Will do laundry, etc. and probably watch a movie.

I hope everyone has a great day!

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!!

Good to find some coffee already on here!

My nightly coughings have me getting up SO late these days! I am sitting in my trailer this morning, furnace cranking out the heat as it's only about 42 degrees here, and overcast, with rain predicted. How wonderful it is to be back "HOME" in my yard campsite again! I see two low-flying geese going past my window---probably took off from the pond to go find some green grass to munch somewhere.

Yesterday I managed to get both 2 inch touch-foam matresses back out here, and this year, instead of sleeping on the opened-up sofa (which is near the door and less claustrophobic for me) I am trying the back corner bed. Last night was fine in there...am less dizzy this year, I believe, than I was last year with my inner ear crap going on. I got two digital TVs set up....one for in here (living room) and another 12-volt one for the bedroom. Both hook just fine to the Direct TV satelite receiver I brought out from the back bedroom of the house on the loooooong coaxial cable I had them install so I could do this. When I am boondocking (I am plugged into house current now) that nice little truckers' 12-volt color digital TV will run off the airwaves via a power-boostd antenna in here. I can get quite a few digital channels right here, and some places will have even more. Water hookup won't happen for quite while down the months, as it can still get way below freezing out here. Slowly I am getting 'stuff' organized and ready for a road trip!

I had the Kicker (Suzuki Sidekick property 'tank') hauled off to get a new starter installed and a new battery so it'll be trail ready soon.

I see that Cedar is getting ready for her first road trip in about 3 weeks....Sounds like a short time! My first trip will happen on Memorial Day weekend----either at the nearby KOA, or, perhaps I'll try another site where Cedar may be set up. It would be more fun to have some neighbors I would know! Will have to check that out today.

Liz should be waking up in Ocala State Park in FL, and is probably on a hike with Roe right now! Wish I could join them. But Molly and I will walk the lines of the property today again, too.

I hope you all have a good day and keep us informed! We need some more pictures! Maybe I'll take some pond pics today on my walk.

good morning ladies, well my back is feeling much better today, there is finally a ray
of hope that its healing :P
today will be a normal routine saturday, something I haven't seen in a long time.
That means, pay the bills, get the groceries, do the laundry and I will also go get
some propane in one of my little tanks to get me through these cold mornings that
are yet to come before our 24/7 heat wave starts for summer. Then if I feel up to
it I'll make a trip to home depot for pvc to get my drip system set up for the flowers.
I can do the drip system for less $ than a carton of cigarettes :D I am definately
liking this little extra financial freedom I have on my agenda.
Time for a refil of coffee and a little breakfast snack, hmm think all I have left is
a little oatmeal but that will certainly do the trick. Have a great day ladies and
be safe.

Thanks for the coffee - really needed it. Have caught myself a blasted cold - nose running, eyes watering and sneezing. Have to work - don't feel like I've been here long enough to take any days off but at least its only for two, maybe two and a half hours then back to bed. Will probably run to Walmart for some cold meds - I have NOTHING in the rig. I so seldom get a cold that I just don't stock anything to take - will now keep something in the rig just in case.

Hope everyone has a great weekend. Stay well.

Awwww karen, sorry to hear that. I rely on echinnecea (spelling!) and extra vit. C. I just threw off a cold because i started both within the first 12 hours of symptoms. Good luck!
